MY Real Street 275 build

Gusset added to funny car cage and more triangulation in the back half.
We're going to X brace the down bars and maybe do one other thing to the back half and the back of the car is done along with the funny car cage.
Only thing left is the front weight bars, X the pass. door bar in and trans cross member(6C bar).
BTW the right side of the part just added is not crooked. The dust on the down bar and the way the car is sitting(off level slightly) gives it the appearance that it may be crooked or off, but it's not.

More back half pictures and a finished funny car cage picture.
We're trying to decide if we want to triangulate any more of the back half or leave it alone. There's two more bars I'd really like to add, but it's getting nearly impossible for Matt to weld in the back half of the car. I'll add a picture to show what I'm talking about, poor guy.

When I take them on my cell phone and send them to my email, it's easier to just save them on the hard drive then attach them instead of saving them, loading them to photobucket, and then embedding them.
If you guys like it better that way though, that's what I'll do.

Don't let that creeper roll anywhere. LOL Heck of a place to utilize one.
Found out ls1tech wont let you upload more than so many pictures so I started using photobucket.

We're going to take some weight out, but I'm losing 30-40lbs. going from the TH400 to a Glide.
Oh yea, I forgot to mention I will not be utilizing the 2 speed TH400 anymore. I am selling it.
Anyone want a TH400? JW bell, stock case, deep aluminum pan, 34 element sprag, aftermarket clutches and steels.
Held up to 650rwhp in my car at 3000lbs. Should hold the same power in a heavier vehicle, but I wouldn't put more than 700rwhp to it if your car weighs over 3600lbs. without an aftermarket input shaft.
I'm willing to sell it for a good deal if someone will please just buy it from me.
I'm going with a 1.69 planetary power glide and still using the 4.10 rear gear.
If you took all of your interior out, carpet and plastics we could replicate this cage for $6,000 dollars.
OK funny car cage is finally completed! The cage is done as well. All that has to be done is the trans cross member and gussets for the cross member.
I've ordered my paint which is a OEM paint code for the factory color. Picking it up this afternoon and I'll be prepping the cage/interior tomorrow for clean up and paint.
I'll have to hold off on the engine bay until Matt get's everything mocked up and get's a brace built for my turbo, but then I'll be in business.

Honestly, when the class first started locally in our area 3-4 years ago it was slated as a 5.80-6.0 class. Which it was. The first year.
Next year it was a 5.60-5.80 class.
Then guys started dipping into the 5.40's and even cracked a high 5.30.
Last year they dipped into the 5.20's and the powers that be said you have to have a 25.5 cert. A bunch of guys got all up in arms that they wouldn't race in the class anymore if 25.5 cages were mandated because not everyone is/was going that fast.
Now it's normal to see 5.teens and 5.20 passes in the heat and I feel like a guy would be a fool not to have a 25.5 cert going that fast at this weight. If you can't afford the 25.5 cert or don't want to do it, then you shouldn't be racing in the class is how I look at it. Or slow your car down enough to where you're not at the speed required for a 25.5.
8.50 cert is good to 5.35 in the 1/8th FWIW.
Not sure on the tubing. I'll have to have Matt add it all up.
