I'm sure it will be, just wanted to hear some results. Right now il go from ambient to about 160 at the end of a quarter mile. 5.5 drop at 20psi intake pressure.
Now if this thread stone is only going to do alittle better Il leave it alone. But if i can get a 1-2psi drop and better iats il do it.

Very hard to spend $1500 on a horizontal a/a plus the fab work and material to get it to fit. At the end of the day that's 2 grand, seems crazy to get the shearer.

I run the 1300hp center outlet treadstone. with meth & 22psi my IAT's are in the 60's at the end of a run.
I run one of the CRX racing 36in horizonal intercooler in the beginning, and i picked up 5psi when swapping to the treadstone.

Ya i think my actual iats are not very accurate with the meth on. I have the nozxles a foot away and its reading a 80 90 degree drop from no meth. I doubt that's correct but cool to see.

Just run another 140$ cx cooler just like the one you have in parallel.
I run the same cooler. 5lbs is pretty nutty... I'll have to look into other options as well. Thanks for logging that info!
May look at the procharger units too. They are similar.
Heres one for a decent price.

Smart man here! I called Bell and had them build my intercooler. Go verticle. Forget anything horizontal. Here is mine.
