Basically he took 5.0 ford Headers and cut them up and rewelded/reflanged them. I saw an opportunity to pick hotpipes for cheap and jump on it without really thinking it threw. I mean they worked for him but how good or how long I don't know !

Do you have any problems controlling boost with that WG placement? No offense, but It might be worth it to re-work that hotside to gain some flow, control, and aesthetics. Not gonna knock it if it works and you're happy with it though!

Whats happening Steeps/Sunny Z ! Yeah, I think my set up will be scrapped ! I wish I new how to weld but I suck at it. I'm going to have to get a local guy to build me something based off of truck manifolds. Previous owner cut the wastegate part off at almost the base to sell it.

Got the upper radiator mount and some chassis stiffening done today. For ease of removal and general clean look i went with the same heim joint cross bar. I would have mounted the radiator mount higher in the engine bay but the intercooler piping is blocking it. This is as high as i could possibly get it and it works great. I can actually pull the fenders 1/2" closer just by tightening the bar.. I still need to clean it up and have it powder coated.

Thanks for the chassis idea STEEPSS

Honestly i think you can make yours work. The driver side could use a better transition. Have you looked into having anyone "redo" them.

I really like your brace that doubles as an upper radiator mount. I was trying to envision something removable and elegant for mine, but I decided to weld it all solid.

You should post a link, or just respond via PM on the source of that stuff.

Heim joints where purchased from http://www.qscomponents.com/OnLineCatalog.html they are big on ebay also. I went with 5/8 18 .120

Getting some cosmetic stuff done while I'm waiting on the motor. Shouldn't be long now, just talked to Eric and the cam tunnel is being bored out a little. Couple bearing where spun. I also need a new cam as my 228r took a beating. Any suggestions are welcome, I have t decided between PAT G/LIL John/Martin

Here is the front bumper. I decided to bring the front end up to date. I already have projectors/HID's so this was the likely move. No more big *** ugly amber turn signals.

Just dropped the intercooler off to ryan@polydyn coatings. I'm going to get the arctic black heat dissipation coating applied to it.

Any proof of that working well-or at all? I have yet to see any on heat dissipating coatings for consumer use.

Not personally, Polydyn applies this coating to a lot of radiators/intercoolers and other things of that nature. Iirc they worked with NASA to develop it. At the end of the day it was all about aesthetics for me. With the front of this car being wide open and my hatred for rice I decided to cover it up. I didn't want to rattle can it and was getting mixed opinions on PC/anodizing..

Have you seen this product work/fail commercially?
