I could easily hit 10lbs on the footbrake, no 2 step, no trans brake, just give it some gas and go. Really was no issue running 1.4-1.5 60' in a heavy car.
I know it's capable of 1.5's all day, I just ran out of time last time at the track. The tune is conservative for the sake of stock rods and longevity. It's a 99.5% street car. The issue is it take some practice to perfect the staging sequence. For example one time I left and forgot to take my finger off the 2 step button and killed that run. It would be nice to just roll up and mash it.

Yeah but he said it was because he installed his tensioner pulley wrong. If you install something incorrectly on an NA car it won't run properly either.

As far as installs it seems to me that superchargers are way easier to install and tune than turbos so that's a plus for superchargers IMO
I was being sarcastic about the whole belt thing, just having some fun. Ls2 here btw, over 800.....and no power related issues with the block so far.

Trust me, I hear the belt slip issue thrown out all the time, and how it takes so much power to turn the blower, and turbos are free power, etc etc.... It doesn't bother me.

My daily is a 2.0l turbo and it's fun, it's just different. I've always said, one day, I'll have a turbo LS car... just not right now.

My point was your starting line sequence should be easy and you shouldn't need a 2 step for what your doing. For guys with twin 88's ya sure transbrake and 2 step is needed, for a little T4 turbo on a 6L not so much you should be able to just mat it and go. I've had back to back setups with a TVS blower in the same car that's currently turbo and no real difference in 60' capability but a huge difference in MPH!

I too kept timing low with a stock bottom end but it still spooled up pretty easy. Could also be your converter, but I would look at the tune first since lots of people add fuel too quick or pull timing too early.

Sure, we can pull up a lot of turbo dynos where they make more, but for me, being a street car, it's just about enough.
You talk about street car this, and street car that, but you also said you drive 1k miles annually so what is it? My turbo catfish gets more than that in miles with a bumper exit, which I think looks rad. I make more power than you or less than you with the push of a button.

I have had several centri cars and turbo cars and I prefer turbo hands down. The centri setups are good for guys wanting a little more than stock but turbos are for making the GTR guys regret spending $200k on a Nissan only to see a catfish yank it's doors off.

The feel of the turbo spool up without having to downshift is so fun.

I think some of you guys need to pick up 30-40mph in the quarter before you start claiming to beat modded GTRs LMAO.

I'm asking a question. Someone said they run 30-40mph more in the 1/4 than the cars posting in this thread. Can you read?

He never said he was fast. As a matter of fact I think he posted he ran 11s. It was Drewstein who said he tears them up.

Got any links for this. Never heard of them running 160 in the 1/4, with ease anyway? Anything is possible with work I know that.

Bolt on ls6 vs fbo gtr and gtr wins by 4.
