Default got a new personal best... 8.86 @ 156

Went out last weekend while the weather was nice to finally test out the new combo from last year. Quick rundown is a sbe gen3 lq4, BTR stg2 cam, vic jr, Bullseye billet s483, th400, 3.25 gears and 3100 race weight. On my best pass the 2-step was set at 3k rpm and left on 5lbs running only on gate spring so it all came in at once after that so it was hard to keep the tires under it at that point. Turned it up to 4k rpm on 2-step and leaving on 10 lbs but wouldn't work so i have more suspension tuning to learn/do for next year. Couldnt be happier with the times on what is known as that "junk gen3 bottom end" but so far its working for now till i put a motor in it eventually.

Factory ecu and no controller, just running on gate spring and using my 2-step to dictate how much boost i leave off of then it just ramps in all at once, lol. This winter im going to get a Leash boost/pulse controller to i can manage it better.

Nice! The car is making some power for sure. Can't wait to see what it runs once you get the launch figured out!

Nice, I was running my car the same way. Only running a $7 manual boost controller, and like you said, it would ramp in all at once. Next time my car runs tho, it will have the dominator efi and CO2 setup on it. Try to see if I can work this thing down to maybe low 1.2s as well as controlling wheelies a lot better.

But my buddy has the leash combo, and it works pretty good. The only thing I don't like about it, is that you can only increment the psi pressures by 1. So that kinda sucks sometimes, because sometimes the difference between a 9psi launch and a 10psi launch is a lot. One hooks, and one spins. As we found out the hard way. I wish it could increment by 0.1.

Well I would say that is cool, but sucks you have to pay an extra $100 for an option that I think should just be already included at that price level. Just my opinion though.

Yeah man, I'm dead serious, we were hooking his car but not sixty footing hard enough (low 1.3s) so we turn it up by a whole "1" psi, since that's the smallest it could do, and it will just blow the tires off. We needed something in between.

Thanks for that heads up, ill look into that when im ready to buy. Till then i have to figure out why i keep shitting out alternators. Had it rebuilt and converted to a true 1-wire and burnt out, they fixed for free and honestly didnt know why it went out. Just went out again so i dropped it off again pretty pissed off so waiting to hear back about that.

Nice results!
Looking at your vids it seems like the front comes up too fast. Then bounces after it lands.
If it has DA shocks up front some adjustment would help.
It's hard to overcome a crap track. I try to watch a variety of other cars to see if it's just me or the track.
Also, if running the 275 pros, don't be afraid to drop the pressure.

Cool car!

I run my 275 pro's at 16 to 16.5 psi I tried 15 and it went into a tire shake about 40 ft out and I thought my my car was coming apart. I'm going to play with air a little today.
