My buddy is picking up an Ultrabell he's not using from Dave @ ProFormance, and then one of my friends will mate it to my TH400. Planning to bring car over 1/15 to drop in driveline and maybe just go ahead and fab up the turbo kit. Maybe I should do a video with the highlights.

Update.
I bought a used Weldon 2345 to be my big pump and I'll buy an inline Walbro for cruising around.
I also bought some 160 lb injectors from Holley. I found out they offer flow matched sets. So that's what I got.
Car might finally get motor/trans etc in a week.

My goal is to have it running and race ready by April 1. Now that I'm older I'm boring and practical(relatively speaking) so I try not to max out credit cards or do stuff like that.
I still need to buy brakes and the computer, but those won't limit use from dropping in the engine, trans, new front springs (BBC to SBC), a fuel system and maybe fab up the turbo kit.

Yeah motor mounts converted, engine in, trans in. Changing over to Rhode's tubular core support, and changing out front springs from BB to SB. Hopefully turbo is mounted this week.

Thx.
I ordered a different fuel cell, one that is sumped. Going to run two pumps, one small and one big 'un.
Phase 1 is gonna be motor/trans/lower car/fuel cell mounted/turbo kit
Then comes back to my house for a while, buddy and I will pull out wiring and get that going.

Nice ride and killer project John,
Looks alot like mine actually!! LOL!! (Arent they all lookin a bit the same lately?)
I just read everything on yours tonight and im at right at the point of choosing my pump too. I must admit that from looking at this, going NEW with everything, when all said and done, Mechanical is really starting sounding good...as it does make a lot of sense. Especially when looking ahead performance wise and also since every LS that seems to end in the pan is usually due to a fuel miss problem...
Anyway, I'll be following up with great interest!
My roller is now all newly built and ready, and im getting to the engine buttonning up part and then electrical and in a few weeks should be firing up!!
Keep us posted!

Yeah there are a lot of builds like ours, kinda reinforced my interest in doing this build.
What fuel pump you going to use?
Fuel system needs to be plumbed up for my car.

Looks like it is coming along good John. If you are going with a sumped cell you could run that semi new Holley dominator dual pump setup that is alittle over 400 bucks... by the time you plumb up dual separate pumps you would be near that cost anyways.
Holley Dominator billet fuel pumps feature a patent-pending twin-pump design. It allows you to use one pump for cruising and both pumps when you activate the nitrous switch or start building boost. By staging the second pump, you eliminate the unnecessary recirculation and heating of extra fuel, which can lead to poor performance and hot fuel issues. They can also be wired for full-time duty to get the maximum performance and are proven with an 18 V compatibility at pressures of up to 80 psi. At only 5.1 lbs., they weigh half a pound less than other 1,000 hp pumps, and yet they have twice the features.
Features include:
* Billet aluminum construction with anodized finish
* -10 AN O-ring inlet/outlet for high flow and superior sealing
* Excellent for use with carburetor or EFI applications
* Compact for easy installation on frame rails or other tight spaces
* Proven durability beyond 3,000 hours in gasoline or diesel fuels
* Fully sealed, can be submersed if necessary
