I actually just ditched the check valves. I dropped 12-15% duty cycle but same power. Theyll make 1,400-1,440 flywheel with the check valves. I only have 13.5 volts at the pumps.

I can tell you as a longtime crew guy for some ODR cars, the strategies the guys have used to keep the nose down on 4th gens includes:
-adding weight to the nose
-strap the front end / limiters
-hit it harder
-get rear to separate, and quicker.
All excellent advise.

Awesome car man. I was just thinking, you could try a 1.69 1st gear in the glide see what difference it makes

Can someone elaborate on what "Get rear to separate, and quicker" means?

It went completely over my head.

Thanks!

In layman's terms it is talking about the rear of the car rising as opposed to squatting on the launch. You can typically see this as the distance between the top of the tire and the quarter panel wheel lip.

^Yep. It's pretty interesting stuff. Separate too quickly and the car spins.

I know that the low 4 second guys (in the 1/8th) shoot for at least 3 inches of separation.

You can see this pretty good in slow side videos of Radial vs. the World cars like DeWayne Mills.

I drove it 64 miles today. Used 4 gallons. Car still gets about 16 mpg if I dont rag on it. Pretty sweet on pump e85 for $2.02 a gallon. Washed and waxed it for the first time since winter. Looks nice again!
Washed and spray waxed my trailer today. Thats ******* horrible. I feel like selling it and going back to an open deck after all of the bugs it catches.

lol yes That is where it started. When I was still in florida the honda was useless on the street. So once I ran 9's with it I put it for sale and got into the camaro. That was a fun car though.

I had just lowered the car some more in the front so the tires were rubbing and I lost 6 mph on my quickest passes. That was fun though. Car was pretty stock. Other then typical ruined headliner and cracked dash being from florida. Had leather seats and stuff. Weighed 2,475 without me.
