Hi,
Thinking forward....
i put my iat sensor bung near the intercooler outlet to prevent heat soak.

If i decide to spray a little water/meth mix in future, would have probably been best to put iat near throttle body and blow off valve near intercooler outlet and meth nozzle inbetween?
i have a tial 50mm bov to atmosphere, so it could vent all over my turbo and headers....fire risk??
after ideas before i cover the shiny ss pipe in expensive gold wrap.
i could put another bung in after the bov, before the tb and use existing iat bung after intercooler for meth nozzle??
that would still vent the bov over the turbo though.....
wouldnt be using straight or high concentration mix of meth, just probably washer fluid just for a little protection....
what u all think??

The mixture isn't flammable unless you are higher than 50%. You'll be fine. Just don't get the IAT sensor close to the meth nozzle. It throws off the readings and reports false over cool IAT temps when the temp probe is saturated. You want the IAT sensor upstream, or as far down stream as possible from teh injection point. Esp. if you use the IAT reading to heavily influence the tune.

Hi,
i could put an iat bung opposite the blow off valve nozzle and the meth in through the existing bung near the intercooler. I may just weld another iat bung one in for now and just plug it incase i do use the meth in future if bov meth mix isnt a problem.
Thanks for reply.
Anyone use TrePerfomamce for deka injectors 60lb btw?

80lb Siemens are the same price, no reason not to use them in my opinion. Also... If you only need 60ishlb flow rate. Why not just decap the factory injectors? They flow around 70-72lb/hr at 58 base pressures. You can usually pick them up super cheap at a yard if you don't have a set. look for flex fuel injectors.

Hi,
Forcefed youve confused me with someone who knows what their doing....!
was worried that will have less control with 80lbers for idling etc etc.
never gonna go over 600 ish fwhp, 500to 550 ish rwhp as wholedrive train wouldnt be up to it, ie trans max 600, clutch max 600, drive shafts and jag diff?? But know they have taken up to 600..., can only fit 255 wide 17 tyres.....
rather buy matched injectors and not worry about that as well as not that easy to yank the plugs all the time, will be relying on wideband and knock sensors...
Regards

I've run maybe 20 sets of the deka 80's. Never had them flow more than 2-3% different. (basically teh same as a "matched set" Resale will be higher on 80's... and allow for some higher ethanol contents... room to grow...etc... There will be zero noticeable difference between 80's and 60's. With your goals I'd use a factory injector as mentioned. No reason to spend the money. All that said... sure what you linked above will work fine.

i made the mistake of going with 60’s first and then outgrowing them. I then went with 80’s. Maybe I’m imagining stuff but the car seemed to idle better with the 80’s.

Hi,
happy new year all.
Getting closer to thinking about the tune.
i already have cos3 installed and efilive.
Trying to think best way of doing it.
i know i need to edit my timing tables and af in boost areas.
Going to run a 2 psi spring in each wastegate as now have got the cortex ebc 4 port which should give me 8 psi in areas i want.
probably going to limit to 2 psi in 1st second and upp in 3rd 4th.
I have welded 02 bungs in each bank as will want to control AF ratio SDCL in idle and cruise speeds? No maf here btw.
gonna do some more reading but any tips would be great.
regards
gav

Looks good! Might want to coat that heat wrap! Thats alot of real-estate you covered, and the wrap can look nasty pretty quick.. also I HATE working on cars with uncoated glass wrap. It gets in my skin and i'm a wimp! Spray BBQ grill paint on it and it will shed moisture/oil and keep it nice for alot longer. Also keeps the glass in the wrap. You will loose the cool gold color though... Just a suggestion. The satin "ultra" black looks better than the flat black IMO. I coat the hotside b4 wrapping too.

If it's the DEI Titanium or lava or whatever they call it, it's fine on the skin, but it is more expensive. The cheap stuff is just pure ***** and horrible on the skin.
