Congratulations! Your moving along pretty fast with this build.

To comment on your use of manual boost controller,I have been messing with eletronic greedy boost controller, and while trying figure how to set it, it was spiking to low 20's almost instantly!(learning curve on the duty cycle....)Was really shocked it could build that fast considering how many people complain about slow spool times, it made me think, "compared to what?".......

IMO the slow spool BS is with people trying to use the compressor housing as the pressure source for the gate and an MBC. Not that it can’t work in some situations, but it’s nothing like having an electronic controller with OBA or CO2.

if you are going to go annual boost control you need to use a spring that gets you a most of the boost itself. and just add a few lbs with the controller . using a 5# spring and shooting for 15# wont work. but a 11# will go mid to upper teens easy. the spring needs to keep control of backpressure while building boost. and most guys have 1.5 times the backpressure as they have boost.

The boost control was so easy to hook up in tuner studio when I switched to gold box..... I use the compressor for the source for now and make full boost in under a second on a 1/4 pass

edit: that’s leaving off the two step/foot break at around 8 lb

i've been really impressed by the 4 port solenoid. makes 22 + psi on a 7lb spring.

engine/trans feels the same but the 400th is a little less load from a stop. the car feels a bit different. it has power steering, power brakes and a locker in the rear. so it street drives better than old blue. we'll see how that locker works at the track.

not sure about the intake but they are louder . you can hear the air whistle in them. as far as turbo im really starting to get these 6.0 engine and 80/96 turbo's figured out. they are a very good match if the hotside is right.
