Talking Finally My Inter Cooler problems might be solved..

Look what I found out by my door today

31x12x3 Looks like it will fit like a glove. I think I got my moneys worth, pretty big, bar and plate, 3inch in/outlets, polished very shiney
Smooth tanks, no sharp transitions going into or out of it. Excellent beautiful welds.

Now just have to wait for the SS bends and silicone hose to arrive

Are you just ordering bends and hose for what you think will make it fit or does someone make a FMIC kit for the procharger?

Nobody is making a kit yet, I have it pretty much planned out how I am going to run the IC pipes from the s/c to the FMIC and from the FMIC to the TB. If all goes well I will have completed pics soon. I will then be able to post what I needed to get the job done, that will help others with the ATI kit to do the same.

So whatcha think Bos? Looks good, hope it gets the restriction demons excercised. Maybe more boost will show up on the gauge and the dyno printouts will read a lot better too I AM DONE now. Its all maintenance and fixing broke stuff from here on out. No more modding for me. I will update the rear when it breaks, and same goes for my 4L60E, but I will get a Cmotorsports 4L60E built to the hilt when that goes. But I am done. Time to enjoy the ol bird.

Why did you go with oppisite end tanks instead of same side end tanks. Dont you think the same side end tanks would be easier to rought?.

i actually made and cardboard replica of my intercooler to figure the best way to have the endtanks and to my surprise it was way easier to have them on opposite side (more room)

Those who are interested in this IC PM's will be sent shortly- those that have sent me PM's you have replies

Kyle, Excellent I am glad your beast will be hitting the road soon As for the SS 3 bends, I stumbled across an awesome deal on those too. I'll PM you later.

Mean LT1- what Dynedta said, definately more room than trying to force everything to the driverside or pass side. On the driverside my airfilter is in the fog light box and its a 5x12 conical filter so its hogging up quite a bit of space already, now figure in the 2 3inch pipes that need to go there too, no room. I am trying to route the pipes with few bends and as short as possible to keep things efficient.

Chris P, Yep I am still running the stock ATI twins until the rest of my stuff shows up But man this thing is nice, I can fit almost three of the small ATI twin cores with some left over on this thing

BlwnTA I just hope, my in the head visualization of how the pipes will be routed will work lol. I am sure it will. I will definetly have pics of everything.

Granite, Hi Brandon Thanks buddy

J
