Default Jim Filipowski's 1993 Camaro Setup?

I was wondering if anyone was familiar with his setup and could describe how it works? I've read it's a 360ci SBC with a blow-thru carbureted turbo setup.

I believe his best is 8.teens.

His site is here:
http://www.jim-powski.com

I recall Guido posting up some pics a while ago.

I'm wondering:
-what size carb?
-what size turbo?
-glide?
-gearing?
-tire size?

Steve Morris of Morris Racing Engines in Muskegon, MI has a combination he just built that if I'm not mistaken is 540ci BBC Blow Thru setup that made 1689hp on pump gas blowing thru a carb via ATI Blower. Here is his link to call him John he is a really nice guy and has alot of experience with blow thru setups like above referenced.

You are probably better off getting in touch with them. From what I understand the carbs need a few things done to them to get them to work good in those applications. Probably much more important at their power levels. Here is another web-forum you might be able to get some info from too... http://www.boards2go.com/boards/boar...ser=huntracers

I don't doubt it. Call CSU carbs...they set all that up for them as far as I know. The RUMOR is it has gone 7.99, but it definately ran 8.teens. There's a stock suspension mustang running a very similar carb w/ an aero reg and 2 aero A1000's (Y to -12 to reg, 3/8" return I think). He goes in the 7.8 range. 3000 pounds, slicks, stock suspension...don't rememeber the turbo.

I'm about 99% certain the carb is an 850, yes it's a glide, turbo size, tire size, and gearing varies between races. I think the turbos are anywhere from 96-100MM.
