a little bit of STS and OBX datalog info
This is only at 5psi so far.
Looks like full boost by 3200 (I still want to test my system for any leaks but 3200 isn't too bad)
Cruise IAT's - Passed a billboard thingee saying the temp was 64 degrees, looked down at the laptop IAT was 66.
Short 4th gear pull - start 82 degrees, end 82 degrees.
So far my "bastard children" of the FI world are doing just fine for me.

we have done short pulls with our sts/obx car @ 6# and i was seeing a IAT drop from 98 to 93* on the dyno, outside temp of 90*, I will be making some big boost pulls next week and will post the data !!

I think it e-boost is helping alot. It has a neat gain setting that helps with spooling.
I need to doublecheck when I get home but currently I think by 3200 I have it dropped down to 16 and just carry that across. Far from an optimal tune right now. This weekend I will start bringing it up a # at a time and see how well things go. I won't be going for all out performance until I hit the dyno. I am sure there will be alot to be gained there. As it sit's now it pulls great until about 4500 and then feels like it really flattens out. Will see this weekend how much cranking up the boost changes that.

here is my front end. License plate area cut out and grill in place
straight 91 octane for now. planning on tuning up to 8psi for 91 and then add alky and boost from there. I figure that way I won't have to screw around with tunes. It will be on 8psi or less 99% of the time and if I want to crank it up the alky will kick in and I will be in good shape.

I liked the idea of the progressive control I can control with the dial from in the cab.
This way on a really hot day or something like that I just twist the **** a little more to eliminate any KR
I pretty much log every time I drive so I will know when a twist of the **** is needed, and I plan on doing a carputer at some point so I will have nice in dash screen to view the scanner on instead of a laptop in the passenger seat. should be pretty sweet.

Very nice! The mesh looks good as well.
And we will figure out the heat wrap. BUT, let's make sure we are all on the same page as far as goals: it's not the ability to build boost at lower rpm that is the issue to me, but HOW FAST does it get there...the behavior of my goat clearly is heat related. After cranking in one gear, it spools INSTANTLY in the next gear, as the pipes and turbo are hot. It's the delay when you first get into it that I want to improve.

not familiar with the sts kit, but my guess is no. there is alot more to the setup but it has alot more flexability. whether or not all that flexability is needed is to be seen.
I just went a little overboard and went for it because I knew this will be the last system that goes on the car. No more changing setups for me. Don't have the time or patience for that any more. Gonna get this dialed in for a rock solid/reliable 500rwhp and just have fun for a few years.
