A line in the tank could have broke or fell off. I had that happen to me 3 times. The should have use high psi line in tank. Mine they didnt and it split down the side at 120+mph

Default IT rained this morning and i had to walk cause my car broke down

Well shoot, everything was going good got my wheels back took it up to detroit to have it tuned. It did Gooood, made tons of power on pump gas, i was happy. It drove great home, very good streetabily with the cutout on. Gas milage went down some i think to about 18mpg. 6th gear still usable with the lower CR and bigger cam.

Well to the point im driving into work this morning running fine then all the sudden, it clunks like it ran out of gas. it still has a 1/3 tank left. try to start it and nothing. no fuel pressure. I check to see if my intake tube blew off, but it was on. so i think it has to do somthing with my fuel pumps, maybe the shop messed up when they put my new intank in.
so its at the shop now and hopfully thell fix it before norwalk.

I sure wish some vendor would get their plug and play drop in replacement kit going!

In my case the split in the line was tiny and just caused a drop in pressure, but not to the point where it wouldn't run. I hope that's it in your case. Use a high-pressure hose.

I ended up using a piece of high psi air hose . Hasnt gone off yet. also used twice as many band clamps though.

so if there was a pin hole in the line , the pressure would gradually drop under load or as the rpm's climb??

On the fuel pressure gauge, I first noticed that while cruising on the hwy, it was down a few pounds lower than normal. I didn't think too much of it since it's a digital gauge...don't really trust it to be 100% accurate. However later when I leaned into the throttle a bit and it would normally increase the fuel pressure, I saw the pressure DROP. It gradually continued dropping, sometimes holding steady, until it was reading 46 lbs on the gauge (that gauge normally read 65). But I never felt any stumbling or anything...the only symptom of the problem that I could notice (since I wasn't going into boost) was that trying to start the car when cold, it took about 5 seconds for it to fire, while it built up vacuum pressure. If I had tried to go to WOT I might have felt (or heard) something else, but since I knew there was a problem I was only driving it to get it to a shop.
