NICE!!! I have been thinking about doing this myself. Did you stay 3" or put a 4" bullet on it. Even though you stated that the car has no drone inside, I am still skeptical about doing it because I do not want any more noise in the car than possible.

Oops just noticed the first picture. Looks 3 inch.

Does it come into boost faster?

Wish you were here in cali so I could hear it.

cool steve, yea it is very perceptible going from something even like my old slp 2otl to a bullet muffler the throttle response and the lack of that initial lag

you posted this at 11:30, i was just finishing paint on the 'cat back' for my truck, which incorporates my old 4" bullet. ill see YOU on the street.... from a dig.

Yeah It was a nice suprise for sure! Sounds MUCH better too.

No digs till you get off of that 12bolt or until I actually get one.

JimmyZ: I have a Spohn tq arm, new Wolfe rod ended LCAs, PHB, and they are waiting for a rear to go into the car. After tuning so many cars I can't believe the 10 bolt is still together in mine! Cars that I can bully on the street break theirs and mine stays together....

I quoted this because RW99 (pretty sure it was yours) posted a pic of his scraped and flattened crossover pipe behind his M6. I am stock height and as you can tell by my undisturbed wrap, mine clears well.

I *FINALLY* ditched the Hooker catback that has been on the car forever for a race bullet and MAN what a difference a muffler can make! The turbo comes up much faster. I had added a bit more fuel in anticipation but needed more. With my gate dumped into my exhaust I never used to hear it. Sounds sweet coming out now. It doesn't drone inside the car at all, I am really happy with it, big thanks to Jason W. for everything here.

Also a few weekends ago the car got a Spohn tubular K-member and tubular lower A arms. Big thanks to Adam W for the shop space and help with that and Chris J for lining it up.

9,000 miles at 15-17 psi regularly and fingers are still crossed. See you on the street

A little more shameless showing off here:

Shout out to Mightymouse, thanks for letting me get the only quiet 12 bolt that I've ever seen and for letting me and Jason get the shop bay on Saturday for both my car and Tim's. Thanks to Ben for the Heineken.

My car is a transmission and a little work away from some racing on a track... it's still sporting the [very] fun on the street 6-speed.

Here are a few pics of the rear under the car. Before anyone screams about the stock PHB & TA, I have bits waiting to go on at home, they were just waiting for the rear.

Thanks!

Yeah I got it straightened out and sold it to a buddy loaded up with 3.73s. This rear has a 3-series carrier that I wanted and it's *quiet*.
