Default anyone turn on their power enrichment table sooner?

i would guess that this would apply to the turbo guys more than the supercharger guys. i see alot of boost even at 2000rpm, i have a 8lb pully on there and see at least 5lb at 2000rpm at only 50% throttle. this causes a problem, i get audible knock, if i floor it i have no knock even though i see more boost but at part throttle i don't think i am getting enuff fuel.

ls1edit shows 85-90% tps required before PE kicks in, i am thinking about droping this to something like 40%. anyone have any views on this idea?

I would definatly say lower it mine is set at like 50% right now
you'll notice a big difference, you'll be enriching power earlier. with the whipple you can make full boost at lower rpms
So i would say for sure do it my truck was way more reponsive when we did that.
Do it in small steps and log it with atap

I'm a bit confused. Can someone explain a bit more in detail what we're talking about here? Does this help/apply to Supercharged setups?

Thx!

when in PE mode it stops looking at the o2's and goes to a preset amount of enrichment, with ls1edit you can adjust this to get the proper A/F ratio but you nees a wideband to do it right.

my stock program doesn't go into the PE mode untill 90% throttle. i think it should go sooner since i make most of my boost without having to actualy floor it. i can be at 80% throttle and 6psi of boost making 300hp and the computer is still trying to keep my A/F ratio at 14.7-1(too lean). just figured someone around here would have been thru this allready.
