Default ATI Install have a few questions

I am installing on a 1999 TA and there is absolutely no way the AIR pump/cruise control relocation bracket will go into place with the AIR pump on it. I know I have the correct bracket and have installed it right. It is not that close to fitting either, it lacks at least 2 inches up for the bracket to mate to the 3 mount points. The top of the pump contacts the turn signal way too early.
1. Any '99 TA installs made it work?
2. What do I risk if I leave it off?
3. If I leave it off what do I have to do to complete the system removal?
4. If I leave it off how do I tell the PCM?

I have the Aeromotive AEI-11101 in-line fuel pump and AEI-16302 controller (no more hobbs switch with the kit) and need to know where to attach the yellow wire called the tach signal and the 16 guage red wire called the fuel pump supply/control. Does anyone have this setup?

I didn't put the air pump or bracket on mine. I've seen pics of the turn signal pushed up for it, wasn't my cup of tea. If you have edit, just disable the codes. There is no performance change. When you take it out, you'll remove that long rubber y-tube that goes around the engine bay and over to the exhaust manifolds. You'll need to get some blockoff plates too, MIGHTYMOUSE sells some really good ones. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Don't have any answers on the fuel pump. BTW if you come by Richmond much, check us out. www.kickass.at/rpm I'd like to meet another ati owner, I've never seen one in person other than mine.

I don't have edit. If I don't edit out the codes what will happen? I will try to hook up with you in richmond one day this summer. I will try to reach Mightymouse for the block offs.

I could not make mine fit either, so off the car and used LS1 Edit to turn off the code. I mounted the CC to the bumper support. You might have problems with the headlight controller by the fusebox also. Just move it out of the way.

Are you going to pull timing?

Is there anyone in Richmond that can tune with LS1 Edit?

I munted the cc to the bracket they sent, but I couldn't make the cable reach, so it's waiting for me to get a pair of those connectors and make an extension. If the headlight controller is that thing next to the radiator with 2 vertical connectors on it, then I also had to move mine.

On mine I've pulled timing from about 4k up. 1 degree then 2 then 3 over the rest of the table. I don't know of any ls1edit-capable shops around here. We have a cable in our club that 4 of us went in together on.

There is alot of extra cc cable available just go to the firewall, remove the cable tie and you'll have plenty. I installed the relocation bracket with the cc relocated to it and nothing else was in the way. I have the air pump out for now (install is about half done) and will probably remove it if I don't find another place to mount it. AZZhauler are you running the OEM radiator and ATI single fan?

Yes sir, but I put the kit on at the end of november, so I haven't experienced the summer heat with it yet.

I used the single fan and never had a problem down here at the beach on the hottest days. I did use some RTV to seal up the fan to the shroud. I have had mine for a year now. Was my daily driver.

I went to CarTek for tuning. 6 hours from here.

How are you controlling timing?
