Good luck at the track, lil bro! Just wanted to wish my brother(frcefed) some good luck at the track today. I hope you get your 10.xxx pass you've been working so hard for. Wish I could be there to cheer you on.

Well, went to the track today and promptly toasted the tranny
On the first pass car wouldn't do the 2-3 shift, so I had to let off and slow down to get her to shift. 13.0 pass
ON the second pass an hour later, did a good burnout....launch no shift on the 1-2 or the 2-3 had to slow down to get the car to move to the next gear...once in third it just flew up to 6500rpm and banged the limiter again....13.0@110. Other than that the car ran good, tune looked good...had to lean it out after the first pass because I was getting some rich KR...but the 2nd pass it all looked good. On the drive home if I floored it in 3rd it'd hit the limiter
Got some nice gas out there tho, VP MS-109 octane...7 bucks a gallon....pretty expensive fill up
HO well, Glad I ordered up that Rock ON! transmission last week....saw this coming a mile away.
Once again the march towards tens takes a ******* u turn

I do need to get a lil more aggressive with stalling my car up at the line next time out, 1500rpm doesn't cut it with a turbo 2.08 60ft
Man this turbo stuff gets more fun everyday.

Yeah, i'll flush the lines and cooler too. I ordered the tranny on the 27th of last month so it should be here within a week or two. Guess I'll send out the converter to be freshened up as well...no need risking that.

it coulda been worse though and with your luck im surprised it wasnt, but also think of it this way next time you go to the track make some bets because your fast looking 13sec monster will own lol

Yeah I have bad luck...got even worse when I went turbo, but this was to be expected. This is my stock 4l60e that lasted through 2 s/c'er set ups and the pham kit...even tho that was a futile attempt and now this set up. I put 250+ passes on this thing without it missing a beat...so I got my money out of it.
The stage 4 rock on should last another 3-4 years before I send it back out.

This is my stock 4l60e that lasted through 2 s/c'er set ups and the pham kit...even tho that was a futile attempt and now this set up. I put 250+ passes on this thing without it missing a beat...so I got my money out of it.
The stage 4 rock on should last another 3-4 years before I send it back out.

Funny thing is usually the car goes unnoticed at the track. But today everyone wanted to take a looksee
But everyone was positive and gave great compliments....funny car runs slow everyone notices, car runs fast and no one comes around to look
I got the "is the car s/c'ed" because I still have the procharger plate still on my radiator cover, but I told em thats not coming off until this turbo set up beats the s/c'ers time.
