ABeasst- If T4's would fit in that location I wouldn't be able to do it without removing the starter or notching the frame. These GT35's are a very tight fit. I believe lingenfelter uses the GT35R's on their 427's, and possibly Hennesseys vipers, but I wouldn't personally use them on anything much larger than 370ci, and ideally stock displacement.

Classic- There will be a steel brace from the header flange to the turbine inlet flange for support. (as there is on my LT1 car)
Is there a difference between a gt35 and a gt35R ?

Why do you think that lingenfelter uses them on a 427 ? Can they get away with it because of duel exhaust ?

Awsome kit by the way !!!

LPE uses GT2871R on the base 427TT. The upgraded 427 gets a GT30.

I believe the "R" in GT35R means that it has the ball bearing option...that was my understanding anyway...

This will be one bad *** system. Can't wait for it to go on sale and start seeing some happy owners out there killing the competition. Not to mention the SICK numbers people will be putting out with this set up.

Well, all of our materials did not ship out until yesterday (being sent to us by truck freight as it's a larger order).

With any luck we should have it all next week.

We did do a bit of work to get the car ready. Going to run it on the stock shortblock initially and today we installed unported 6.0 truck heads, 01 Zo6 cam, 918 springs, MLS gaskets with ARP studs and also an LS7 Clutch.

I think its safe to say you arent the only fish that keeps biting this worm lol.

Gotta love the continious progress reports Jim! Keep up the great work on keeping us informed on this setup. Some Speed Inc video wouldnt hurt of some of the shake downs
