Default Twin Turbonetics 60-1 HiFi, on center exhaust housing .96

What's the opinion on these with a air to water intercooler on a 8.5 compression 370 with stock heads and cam? I just want some thoughts as far as the size of the wastegates and bov. Any downsides?

Go with a pair of Turbosmart 38's or the new 40's. As for BOV, I like the Tial 50 and Turbosmart megasonic. As for downsides....none as long as your not going for massive amounts of power. If so....get rid of the on-centers would be the main pair. Other then that....you'll be fine.

Those turbos are good for 800+ rwhp on pump gas. For wastegates, buy the biggest ones they sell, you cannot go to big and will have no negative side effects. The bonus is you can alway turn the boost super low! I ran a Tial 50 mm with my 60-1 hi-fi's , worked great!!

850+ can be done, but you will need to monitor backpressure.

Jose,

What is the biggest T3/T4 Hybrid available? Thinking 488 cubes (GTS). Currenty running the 60-1's (want to stay pretty close in size at is relates outer dimensions). If I can't get close, I may have to have the frame rails cut/altered to accommodate correctly sized units. Car makes 800rwhp@8.5psi.

PT-61's should fit in the viper, They are the same actual size as a 60-1 and are rated about 100hp more each I believe.
