I like what I see. I also know exactly like how you feel seeing something for the first time. With me, it's more like seeing the UPS truck pull up... everytime baby.

UPDATE!

Diamonds are and they are SO sweet!!!!!! ITs almost a shame to hide them under the heads but whatever, can't make the block out of clear aluminum can we?

Anyways, car is moving along. Got into a little stand still trying to figure out what i was gonna do for fuel/ignition. Not 100% sure on ignition but fuel is on order. MAgnafuel stuff with a sump kit for hte 98 tank. Will have pics of that stuff in a bit, should be arriving today, well, hopefully!

Anyways, pistons are completely custom pieces. Coated tops and sides, redesigned primary ring landing height, etc... *should* yeild a C.R. Of about 8.7:1.

Motor is prepped and ready for the new pistons. She is now at 410ci due to the honing/boring, so she is a little different them normal and has more cubes (though barely any really! ) to get here going.

I think he is talkin' about the cuts on the top, made for the valves.

They are valve reliefs, they just catch a very minimal part of the pistons because of the bid dish.

yeah, if you are referring to those little "slices" missing from the piston top, those are valve relieves and are meant to keep me out of trouble.

As for the poweradder, well, i wouldn't be spending so much time in the FI section, asking all sorts of n00bie questions if i was gonna go Salsa know would i?

Besides, *cough! *8.7cr* cough!*

Hmmhmm.... she'll be a single turbo car, a/c running nice a cool (well that is if i have enough mula to fix the damm compressor when all is said and done) and running on DR's. Fuel is on order, just need to figure out what the hell im gonna do for tunning.

96lbs injectors and drive box, matched with a 99+pcm/harness, tuned by hptuners 3 bar map and 4l80e tables... OR a BS3 with those 96's, controlling the 4l80e with an additional 80e wiring harness..

hmmm about $3500.00 versus half that... but can it work?! Now ya'll are understanding my issue?!

Drivetrains is done, motor is finally complete, just waiting for parts to trickle in and see what she'll do.

Well, fuel stuff came in, had a little bit of worries on what exactly should i need and/or what works and what doesn't. Took a eduacted guess and went with a single 4303 magnafuel pump, their two port regulator, boost referenced, and a pair of their pre/post filters. Fittings are on their way and the lines and sump kit are around, maybe i'll get a pi of that too..

anyways, almost done, this project has cost a million, gazillion, bazillion dollars more than what i had originally opted to do, which was a simple spring, tune job. Oh well, cant take it all back now can i?!

UPDATE:

Well, got some more stuff in. Man, do i love getting new stuff!! The cost of this build is retarded!! IFs funny how a bunch of 299.99's and 179.99's, which look ok, adds up to thousands when you add them all up on a receipt!!

Anyways, got my injectors, 160lbs. HAD to finally order the BS3, big dent in the wallet but it was almost inevitable. We established a few plans of attack and all were right around the same price, with what i needed, so the bs3 seemed logical and with the injectors, the bs3 was probably my only choice.

Anyways, got a flaming river battery battery kill swith, battery relocation kit, ATI harmionic balancer and my SWEET intake elbow. (Mods, it has a sticker from a non-vendor, so if you wish, let me know and i'll remove it )

The intake elbow welds are very, very nice. Its gonna look sweet after powdercoating.

anyways, what do ya'll think? Project is moving thats for sure. Expensive, but i hope when its done she will be worth every penny. Seriously, its like building a brand new car from the factory... i dont think there will be anything stock left over!!

laterZ!
