man, board didnt post my earlier post!!!
anyways, sorry kyle, but the drivetrains will consist of a 4l80e, a top-gun driveshaft form Spohn, and a Strange 12 bolt with a 3.42.
We actually just finished that discussion. When the s91 was announced, we were gonna jump all over that. However, considering that the s85 was already been built, we decided to keep the s85 and see where this lil' s85 will take us.
If not, the s91 is built of the same mid-frame size so if the s85 falls a little short which is like saying that a million dollars can't buy ya a c6 z06 for every day of the week, then i'll just rebuilt it for a 91mm.
question, you think the s91 is a better match for a 408ci motor? I know i would like to go bigger just becuase, however, i want to see how well or soon this turbo gets into boost before moving on. I really dont want to rev her past 6500-6600 rpms.

right, nitto has to competition tires, the nitto 555r 1's and the 555r 2's. The 1's are for drag while the other is for road racing/autocross.
The rears are nittos however, the fronts are Flaken RT-615's. They are also for autocross/RR and are a great tire. Stick really good, are inexpensive and look cool. fronts are 275's and those are their new pattern. Not really a true rain type of thread tire but they hold out fine in the rain.... im considering going to a more rain type of tire if these dont hold out.
SOM: Yeah, you can say that!! I want to hit gainsville and moroso as well. You in orlando right?

you know it!! Getting rid of your vortech? hmm.. well, we live and learn right?!
Dude, around here, 1-95 is not for racing... too many turns and the pavement is jagged, cut up in places. At 80mph is fine but anything above that a little jag tunrs into a huge bump.
but no worries, im sure i know of a few places. The towers is supposively a huge car meet. You'll see all sorts of cars/trucks/ppl out there. Never been there but i have been asked to go when she's done. Let me know, we'll hang and check out the locals. Get a video or two, got a buddy with a 500rwhp+ h/c ONLY 346ci firehawk that is game for racing.
laterZ!

I like my vortech, but my goal for real big power will be more doable with this kit. I dont want to lose my a/c and the kit i'm looking at is very nice in quality.
gonna do a few more things with the supercharger to see how much i can push it in the 10's then i'm gonna switch the setup in late July.
maybe this weekend or next. hopefully it gets a little warmer.
