Talking Procharger 346ci, +58rwhp/+63rwtq with new Inlet Hat,Exhaust,+1deg timing

Hit a dyno day a few weeks ago to see if the changes to my inlet and exhaust showed any gains.
Mph from the track said yes but I was curious about the #'s.
I'm happy to say it picked up a good bit and was well worth the time and effort invested .

I know it picked up a little from the timing but the majority came from the hat and exhaust. The best the car
trapped before those changes 131-132 mph @ 17 deg.

After mods the car went 134 mph with the same timing on a warmer day with a worse DA.
Mph went to 135 mph after adding a degree.

The reason the boost is the same between the two is I lost a couple psi with the exhaust and gained it back with the inlet hat.
Intercooler heatsoak (variances between pulls) on the new dyno run was more prevalent due to a warmer day (vs the 614 dyno),
1 fan on the intercooler/radiator, and little to no cool down between the pulls.

A/F is shooting lean/high early on the graph compared to my in-car wideband. I didn't get the lean spike
untill 6100 on the dyno and 5800 street. The worst the spike got was around 12.6-12.7 on the in-car. I've since remedied that little issue.

Mods:
9.1 comp 346, D1SC, Ported heads, TR 224/227, 60 lb/hr Moto's, SDCE tensioner, FMIC
dual 3" inlet hat, TTS Longtubes, 3"y - 4" over axle - 3" dual exhaust, M6, 12bolt w/3.73's.

18 deg timing, 13-14 psi @ 6200, 93 octane
672 rwhp/600 rwtq SAE
Dynoed on stock 10 spokes with MT DR's @ 25psi

Preston, you do some amazing work bro. Your home made exhaust is better than practically any muffler shop's work. More often than not they can't even allign the tail pipes right let alone build what you did.

See ya on the bridge.

Thanks brudda . It was good seeing you. I think the last time we talked was when you went for a ride in Mikes GTO awhile back.

One of my favorite quotes from the exhaust thread I posted .

The "clearancing" on the muffler is for the sumped gas tank.

The case is hollow with I'm guessing some sort of packing material. It's just the case thats crushed.
The perforated straight pipe going from the inlet/outlet is only compressed a small amount near the inlet, and shouldn't
be noticeably restricting flow. Most exhaust exits the right tail anyway.

Great results!

You also get the benefit of knowing you made it all yourself.
