I used a Turbowerx scavenge pump, the 12V DC version. comes with a 5 year warranty. It is kind of expensive, and they do make a cheaper version that I think is $2xx I remember mine was $350 I believe.
You don't want intake temps staying or going above 130+, obviously on a HUGE pull they will approach that easily. I'm running an 11.5 AFR and 16 degrees timing at ~10:1 compression
You will also be safe on 7psi with a stock ls1, but absolutely NO MORE. and be DAMN SURE TO USE COLDER PLUGS!!! me likeys NGK TR6 (especially the iridium) I have a buddy that works at an Auto parts store, so I can get them a dollar off

Sweet so no more than 7. thats above what i was gonna go anyway, at least for now. so no higher than 110 is safe for me at my stock compression.
As for plugs im already running NGK TS6ix

Hey man, I take it your cold piping is 2.5" then? Also, do you know where in here you have info on your fuel system? I have a forged 347 being built and am hoping for around 550rwhp on my 67mm. Was wondering what exactly I would need to fuel it. Planning on 60 lb injectors with twin Walbros. Thanks!

Most of my cold piping is 2.25 (standard STS tubing from when I bought my used kit) some of it is 2.5 to mate up.
As far as fuel system, I basically have a 255 in tank pump and a Bosch 044 external pump with the aeromotive filter (if you want Part numbers I can provide that when I get home) the bosch only kicks on above 3k rpm. I also have a Fuel pressure regulator, so that the differential the fuel injector sees remains the same. Being a boosted car, I recommend you run a fuel pressure regulator.

SO far i found a Master Power T70-.96 turbine a/r for sale thats kinda a good start. Found other stuff too. Trying to figure out what spring to go with the wastegate though. i found a 40mm wastgate with a 10# spring but not sure if i shuold go with the 4# and adjust the boost or use the wastegate as the limiter and boost up to 7ish lbs and use the wastegate as "the alamo" for the boost? last resort if the boost gets out of control for some reason or do i have this backwords?
I know the BOV is for sudden throttle closure and overboost protection but what about the wastegate though? they seem simular in jobs just on different sides of the air streams.
Or shuold i get the 4# spring on the wastegate and have Boost controlled on the BOV side of the house? im confusing myself now lol
The moral of my question is im looking into getting wastegate and BOV for a T70 turbo lol

put it this way, I'm running a 76mm turbonetics with a 38mm wastegate with a 11.6 pound spring and I'm running nearly 11psi of boost and it never spikes or surges.

also wanted to know if thes Turbos would be a suitable canidates for rear setup with basic bolt ons, a Stall, and a tune (of course lol)

Let me throw my opinion in, this is from my own personal experience.
1. skip the 42's go straight to the 60's
2. have Forced Inductions help spec the right turbo. Everyone knows spool is a issue with a rear mount but it's easy to forget that backpressure with a small turbine a/r is just as bad. I had alot of issues with my rear mount that was related to high back pressure.

If your refering to me, yeah ive already decided to for go the 42lbs and go with the 60lbs since i was gonna go with a bigger turbo anyway, might as well go with slightly larger injectors too. Im still wondering about a completly oil-less turbo as well ive been reading about latly. Thats a crazy item there, but i figure ill get the other stuff first.
no biggy, i already was talking to frost about this before and he showed me the power to injector formula for proper sizing and turns out, 60s or even 70-80s would be more ideal, but 60lbs would be plenty for my modest goal of 450-500ish HP.
Now if you could do the same with recommending Turbos, thats what i need guidance on lol

hey ZL1 what kind of numbers are you putting down and more importantly how loud is your car? mines finally up and running and good god its loud. it hasnt been tuned yet but i doubt its gonna have the ***** to back the noise.

I will get a better video up soon, farther away from the car so you can hear it, when the damn weather quits pouring down. Nice, that is pretty loud.
There have been quite a few changes since my video. I still need to head back to my fabricator, have him install the threaded metal IAT sensor... and I'm debating methanol injection.
Currently tracking down a transmission leak, I think it is the rubber boot at the rear of the transmission where the driveshaft goes into the transmission. I do NOT think it is the actual rear seal.
THEN I'm going to hit up the dyno. So it may be another month or so before everyone gets my numbers.
It pays the bills nicely to travel with work, but it leaves no time to get things done at the house, I would have already had all of this fixed, but with my recent travels to Oman from November 11th to Dec 17th 2010; and then my trip to India from March 12th to April 9th I haven't had much time. Been trying to get the house all cleaned up and get my storage building in the backyard up.
Things should start coming together though

I almost had to fab a connector for my iat but I switched it to an 85mm gen 4 mass air from a ls2 which has it built in. Then I got the 5 pin harness adapter so it's all plug n play. Btw I found your YouTube page lol.

cool, thats what i was thinking but was wondering since they all have a .81 AR i was wondering if they would have simular spool characteristics. SO at least a T72 will have good overall flow and spool right?
