Cool

What Y pipe can this system be used with ? Or do you have to get a custom Y pipe made ????

This might have been already answered in here but I didnt find it.

Peter stated the Hooker Ypipe will be the "closest" ypipe that will fit. You may need to have it changed a little though. Should not be a problem for a exhaust shop.

Yea I was going to install it in August but it seems like Im going to be going thru a little more bling mods and paint mods so my build will be at least another 60 days after I get the kit. It will be worth the wait

Are you going to engine dyno your engine?

The existing clamps will likley hold just fine at the boost levels the kits are set at and up to 20 would be more than I would ever use. Just t bolts you can clamp down harder and not worry about cutting into stuff. They are available in my city and not that hard to find.
Again not a huge deal.
No one in the US makes a stainless steel Y pipe? Just a thought, I think you will need a true dual 3 inch exhaust to produce high power.

Did you finalize prices on the fuel kit yet..both the standard and the fuel rail add on?
Do you mean the price for the twin pump fuel system?

Sounds good and that you're well organized, well done.

I don't plan on engine dyno that would be very awkward with the turbo kit. Of course chassis dyno. Would be plenty thrilled to hit 850 rwhp or so with 408 /427 ,afr 225 and decent cam. Also likley run small shot of spray too. So goal was to have potential 1000 engine hp.

Some companies offer stainless yipes. I guess could go true duals mabye down the road. See hot it goes. I am not that worried about power. I realize that 600 engine is going to even be lots on the street and my car is not a track car!

Its just nice to have that psychological 1000 engine hp potential. Likely never use it but still nice to know its there! Sort of like having a gun when you know there are bears around when you are camping in your tent.

do you, or anyone else, have any idea what size restrictor you would use on an engine that will no doubt make over 80psi at WOT and 40-45 at hot idle???

Its a experiment and see thing, start big like I did and work your way down...don't go any smaller than .065 tho.

I run a .109 and its great.

Peter, I talked to the cc company AGAIN, it should go through this time.

It's getting close. I've got my gauges done, dual intank fuel pumps are in, rail mount regulator done, got the turbo cam in, built trans is in, god damn, that's a lot of work and the kit's not even here yet.
60 lb injectors & 2 bar MAP go in tomorrow so I can start messing around with the 2 bar OS. And I've got a BMR k-member sitting out in the garage also. Hopefully when the kit gets here that will be the only thing left on my list. I'm going to wait until the kit is almost done to figure out placement for the meth pump, but that should be the only odd job left.

Guys, You should not need any special turbo oil restrictors in the F body twin turbo system, I spoke with engineering and they have confirmed that the oil supply to the turbochargers will be just fine up to 90 PSI oil pressure, all good.

Hope that helps,

Peter
