Ok so after 2 hrs of reading 20 pages worth of info on many different setups and learning what will and won't work as far as cooling goes, would this radiator and fans set up be sufficient...

Griffin 1-55241-XS 27.5" x 15.38" Universal Aluminum Race Radiator...

Flex-a-lite 420 - Flex-a-lite Low-Profile S-Blade Electric Puller Fans...

If yall have any suggestions as something better would like to know..

So, the new tstat, water/water wetter didnt work. It was still creepin up to around 210-215. This sucks. I'm going to put the old tstat back in, as it has 2 1/8" holes drilled in it. I'm out of ideas.

I use those fans and think they are freaking awesome. Last week it was in the 90's in Chicago and my temps were between 180-190 the whole time. Just make sure the shrouding makes a nice seal on the rad to channel the air. Someone mentioned that once I hook up my condenser it might not be sufficient, but I'll find that one out later.

Did they say why it would make it less efficient when you hook up your condenser?

Not sure, like everything posted on the internet I take it for what it is. Until I actually hook up the condenser I won't know for sure. It could just be that it's another cooler to draw air through instead of just the rad itself, but then again heat soak from coolers like for my trans isn't an issue as I rear mounted those. Otherwise people are put off by the fact that it's a 2,500 cfm fan. The pushers that some guys use are much higher rated, but I do believe that the shrouding and it being a puller helps out immensely. My temps have been pretty good i must say.

Ok... Your fan set up is a puller set right??? And how does the temp temp look when your driving it in the heat?

It holds steady at about 190 in 90+ degree heat and they are indeed pullers.

Ok... I have been looking at those fans. But didn't know how they would cool when it gets 90+ so that's very helpful

Is everyone welding a bung to their Griffin radiators for the steam pipe? I only saw it mentioned once. I just got done installing my Griffin and trying to figure out what to do with the steam pipe. Could you T it into one of the heater core lines?

I welded a bung to mine, then used an 1/8" npt to -6 adapter.
