Jake told me that you ordered a BS3 from us. We'll see how quickly we can get it to you, Tyler. We'll help you out with it. Thanks! Bob

One thing nice about pulls on a dyno is you can see where the converter is coming together. I graphed mpg vs rpm , well its basically a flat line until about 45mph then it sky rockets once the converter engages and then its a 80-85deg line shooting skywards until it hits peak mph.

The converter's definately a problem. No matter what we did, take timing out, add more timing, fuel, etc, the car would run 138-139 mph every run. It's going through at 7200 rpm to boot.
It didn't help that Muncie had stones on the starting line.

Thanks everyone for the positive comments, we appreciate it! Bob
Nice job EPP, congratulations Bob. 9's first time out is very respectable! I am sure you will find bottom 9's real soon, probably even lower.

The car is making an *** ton of power, its just putting it through though the converter. Watching it rip the fronts off the ground is alot different than watching the AWD DSM's shoot out. I have 30+ photos for the night, but I can't seem to find the damn cable... damn messy room.

Thanks, I appreciate it. What a thrash this car went through. Brent, Jake and Tony did a great job in a short amount of time. Thursday night was until one in the morning! Bob

Cool car, is your car mini tubbed? I was looking at running a set of 325's on my Camaro also was wondering how much yours stick out?

Also just a question about the rims, why run a 15x10 with 6.5 back spacing and not just narrow the rear end more and run less backspace?

What the latest greatest power numbers and 1/4 times?

Good luck =)

No, the car is not mini tubbed. The tires don't stick out much.

This car has the same tires. Stock width rear with 7.5" backspacing. On my car I thought one inch narrower per side with a 6.5" backspacing would look good. I didn't want it to look like the car has deep dished wheels.

We just ran the car for the first time Friday, the engine was broken in on the dyno just Thursday night. We're not going to run the car anymore until we either get another converter or we just take it as is to Memphis. If we get another converter in time, we'll probably do some more dyno runs just to make sure the tune is on and everything is as it should be. Bob

Thanks! PM returned, now get some sleep! You don't want to fall asleep at the wheel over there with the 120 mph speed limit! lol Bob

Bob, how is your top secret inlet hat working out? Could you provide the K&N part number for this inlet hat? This looks like the ticket to be able to keep our a/c.

That's not a K&N part... it's ProCharger.

Hi John, I'll get the ATI ProCharger pn# for you tomorrow. It seems to work just fine, no real data to give you though. We never did any testing between the standard inlet hat and this one. Visually, I think this one looks less disturbing... lol Bob

Update: We're going to try a Powerglide that Ted had in his racecar for the LSX Shootout. The same shifter will work, and Ted has a converter that will handle the power without a problem. I Called Tim, Moser's new ace fabricator and told him what we were doing. Tim had a new front torque arm crossmember designed for the glide, it just needed welded. I sent Tony over to Moser's, and it was ready when he got there. Bob
