Default Innovative Turbo stole our turbo!

Is anyone having problems with Innovative Turbo not returning their turbos? I think they are either out of business or just decided to keep ours. No answer and no return calls as of about a month ago. We call every day and nothing. They have had our turbo for over 2 months now for a simple rebuild. Any information would be appreciated.

My buddy USED to be their fabricator a couple of years back. When he quit two years ago the attitude around there was bad, so I can only imagine how it is now.

As far as I know they are still open, my buddies car is running two of their mid framed 88's.

Good luck man!

Heard similar problems....

I sent a couple of their turbos to a local dealer here in the UK a couple of months ago for repairs. They contacted Innovative at the time for the parts, and the order was placed.
They havent heard anything since, or been able to get in touch.
They had someone call to the factory, and apparently it didnt look particularly open.

I was just reading that Rick Head, one of the owners of Innovative, has a new company now called Exile turbo systems. www.exileturbo.com

If he is gone than the company may be starting to dissolve, but I am not sure.

Just a thought here for Otherwhitemeat, but if you notice exile has a new boost controller. It looks like the one innovative had. If Rick was in charge of the boost controllers over at innovative and he is now gone, maybe the other people don't know how to get it repaired. Maybe you could call Rick and get some advice from him?

I do not know these people, so it is just a thought.

Yes rick is longer the owner of innovative turbo(ola is). Back when he owned i had nothing but good things to say. Now the company is a pile of ****. I ordered polished turbos and didnt get that. No big deal too them 2 months to send me what i ordered. Took weeks of bitching to get them to send that along with flanges. Got the car running and one of the turbos pukes oil out the compressor. You think im calling them for warranty **** no. Ill never see the turbo again like the dude that started the post. I was planing on just having a local diseal shop put bearings and seals in it.

Cool

shame how some shops operate-their is nothing wrong in saying we can't do it because we are going broke or we have not have sent it yet- we are sorry-

some like to hide-it gets worst when u hide and u run out of lies-

imo-

it also gives the good shops a bad name-by others thinking they are all the same-

Just what I thought. Many people in the same situation. They do have a complaint filed with the BBB in Cali and it is for the same reasons as ours. I am sending someone there.

I would contact the attorney general. They are usually really slow takes about 1-2 months for them to get to your case, but when innovative gets that letter you will have your turbo in 2 days.

BTW, this is an individual point a view and not Forced Inductions talking. Jose and Jason still talk to Justin over there, but they still hung Jason and Jose out to dry on a few instances.

This post is really dumb so far. The only reason I am subscribing is in the hopes and prayers that a Innovative representative shows up, and I can watch the e-bloodbath.

Sorry, but your misfortune does not entertain me as much as a good flamewar
