Default Cam question

I was wondering which cam would work better... I have a Vortech T-trim and Longtube headers, other than the cam on stock LS6. The two choices are 228/232 115lsa or 228/236 115lsa? Which of the two would be a better blower cam? Any answer I could get asap would be great snice I putting it in tomorrow. Thanks.

my bad, I meant lift. More duration will have more overlap, and lose a bit boost throught the exahaust

I would go with the 228/232 115 LSA hands down, I really like that cam for n/a as well as a blower. I actually thought of even running it on my turbo car, from the guys I talked to it was great al round. Any bigger starts to limit the lower rpm, etc.

I am sure it will do fine as a blower cam, it will move the power band up to a higher rpm is all really. Might bleed off a bit more boost, but the big boys say even in FI the more overlap the more power. JFYI I am going with allot smaller than yours with my turbo and its on a 6.0 built engine, probably make around 1000 fwhp.

I would go with the 228/236//xxx/xxx//115. Both are going to lope pretty good in a 346 and make good power, but the extra exhaust duration will be better for the T-trim IMO.

Exactly what I was going to say. I like a bigger split w/ a SC.
