Video inside.QMP kit w/67mm,Mustang dyno=500rwhp.
Finally got my new setup tuned at Straightline Performance. This is the old Rob Raymer QMP kit with a small 67mm turbo. I got rid of the small intercooler for a monster FMIC.
Unlocked 3k stall,9inch with 370 gears on a mustang dyno and it pulled 500rwhp and 480ftlbs. Im hoping for high tens on stock weight.

Here is a little walk around of the car after the FMIC install. Dont mind the charger in the middle, and finally my two runs. First to 6k 2nd to 7k.

Max boost was 13.5. Came on really quick and started to drop right at around 6700-6800rpm. Im thinking a 76mm would work out really well with this engine.

Whats up Mike. Forgot to text you with the numbers. Everything went fine this time on the dyno. Only problem with it now is a small exhaust leak from a small crack developing of the rear primary.

MIGHTYMOUSE, Ive heard that helps out. This was just a beginner kit for me. I think im going to run it the way it is for a little while and then just swap out for a more high hp kit. Ive been looking at OFI or Kentucky Turbo kits.

Congrats on the numbers! Is that Mike Wells old kit?? (just curious)
As far as backpressure, that's not gonna be an issue. Especially with the .96 ar housing. And the wg location is also exactly where you want it to be...after all 8 cylinders. I made 790rwhp with the EXACT same wg location, on the exact same log manifold, but with a T-76.
Let me know if you I can help you with anything...

Not bad Alex, post up a whole slip and your raceweight. Are the GLD scales working? We should go up one nite, you me and Jimmy P we are like the only LS1 guys from the North side of Chicago. Formula is ready. Camaro is about ready too.
