Definately looking nice! That is a great idea on the seat brackets actually, simple and adjustable. BTW, where is everyone getting their motor plates at?

I didn't get anything done this weekend because I was out of town but this week should have a lot of progress. I have a few things in the mail I should get tomorrow and FLT said my tranny should be done sometime this week. If I get the tranny this week, I'm guessing I could finish it up and have it started within two weeks

I should have some pics this week of what the pipe work will look like but that's about it until I get the tranny in and get the engine in it's permanent possition. Then I can start finishing up all the bracketing. I've added a couple things to the plan for mounting the F2, I won't try explaining it though, I'll wait and let you decide how you think it will work by the pics

That looks like it would work pretty good but does anyone sell a kit to do that? How much am I looking at? I'm tight on funds as it is and I don't want to have to try and make that set-up myself. My water pump won't be a problem as long as I can get a small enough pulley to use as my tensioner and fit it right next to the water pump pulley. I can use the procharger 12-rib tensioner pulley but I'm not sure what size belt I could fit on there.

No kit that I know of. I think it would all have to be custom made. Get some aluminum laser cut for flanges, and weld the AN fittings to it. It would cost a boat load in fittings to complete it too I bet.

Good luck

Those are nice, I might just have to sell this water pump and do it. Any one want a never run meziere water pump? It's nice!

I got a little pipe work mocked up. This 4" looks huge! The final will be welded with the ati race bypass mounted on it.

And of corse I have to show off my beautiful alternater pulley that was a gift from Rev-Xtreme, Thanks, it looks a hell of a lot better. Now I just have to polish up the alt or at least paint it.

One thing with the race bypass, I'm sure there are arguments for both sides on this, but I would put it before the intercooler, why cool air that is gonna just get blown off? It may help keep the intercooler more effecient.

The remote waterpump will probably make your life a ton easier. Some 90 degree fittings off those little adapter plates, and there'd be no hoses in the way at all, you can easily rout them away from the belt.

Looking good so far

Thanks, and thanks for all your input so far.

That makes sense about the by-pass but it worked very well for my old set-up this way, no hot iat's and never any problems with belt slip or over boosting after letting out. I also want to see that $400 piece of jewelry lol. I can't remember why but I do remember researching where to put it on my first set-up and decided as close to the intake as possible was best.

As for the water pump thing, do you know where to get a remote pump? I know you mentioned a radiator with the pump attached but I'm keeping my Ron Davis radiator, that's done. So I just want to mount the pump out of the way and I have no idea where to even look for one Maybe Meizere has that too, I'll have to check. I could probably even mount the pump on the bracket I'm making, depending on size and fit but I'm not even sure what they look like.

Meziere makes a remote pump. You will have to modify the radiator probably, weld on the outlet an an fitting the size of the inlet on the pump, then run a T fitting on the pump for the 2 lines that are the inlet fittings on the motor, then run the 2 outlet fittings on the motor to a T, or modify the radiator to have 2 an return fittings on it.

I don't know where you will put the pump, probably determine that after the intercooler piping is all done. Then put the pump where there is room, and run the lines accordingly.

Expensive with all the AN fittings and line, but they'll never burst, will look

I say do it, with the blower on the passenger's side and the alt only on the drivers side, it will leave you with alot more room, you may even be able to adjust the position of the blower slightly now that the waterpump isn't in the way, possibly even use a little wider belt which is never a bad thing.

Well I think I'm going to try the remote mount water pump. As long as I get my asking price for the meziere pump I have now, I shouldn't have to dish out any more cash because the remote mount is about half the price. The extra cash I have left should cover the fittings or at least close. I won't start the remote set-up until I sell this pump.

If anyone want's the pump I have now here it is:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/lsx-parts-sale/950595-meziere-electric-water-pump-new.html
It's a really nice pump, I with I could use it.

this is one option : (rad. mount)

http://www.meziere.com/ps-1176-0-WP362.aspx

the other: (remote mount- 1in / 1 out))
http://www.meziere.com/ps-1148-1116-wp336s.aspx

another option ( remote mount - 1 in / 2out)
http://www.meziere.com/ps-1150-1118-wp337s.aspx

then there's this one with 2 -12 fitting ports :
http://www.meziere.com/ps-1134-1102-wp316s.aspx

these are all in black , they make them in other colors for added bling

Thanks man. I found the last one already but I didn't see all those other options. I really like the first one but I can't weld and it's too much of a hassle to take out the radiator and bring it somewhere. I think I'm going to go with the last one because it should be the easiest to work into my system plus it's the cheapest. I have plenty of room on my bracket to find a good spot to mount it out of the way. It should work out real nice. Then I can just mount a big tensioner pulley from procharger right where the water pump was.

Now I just have to sell the one I have now so I can get going on the new set-up.

Well the water pump sold so I'm going remote mount for sure. I also got the call that my th400 is done so I'll be picking that up today. Should be lots of good progress pics coming soon. My honest guess on start time would be another 2-3 weeks depending on how much time I get to work on it but I'm going to set my self a deadline start date: 8/01/01

Nice to see you are going with the remote pump. It just looked like a tough spot with what you were setting up, so the remote deal is just a logical step.

Good luck and i look forward to more pictures!
