Default Maggie F-body

Thank your patience. Our business has been swamped. As you can see from our website we engineer and install a great number of high-tech products. The design of our Maggie kit for F-body has worked so well on the stock engine, that we are looking forward to see what lies ahead after several builds on modified engines.

We appreciate your questions, and apologize that we are not on this thread as fast as the questions are coming in.

BILLS question regarding spacers- We use large billett aluminum spacers.

SOUL CRUSHER question re bigger one with lower crossmember- That is to be determined at a later date.

BRNTWS6 and THE ALCHEMIST - question cutting of cowl and posting with pictures. Okay, I can do that. We are developing the instructions as we install the 1st ten kits. This is so you, as a buyer have the clearest, no-brainer guidance to follow. I will have picture of cut cowl by Monday afternoon.

KILLER_Z - Tuning is done. Runs great! We haven't done burnout videos yet, but I'll get the camera and try some in front of our building.

PROCHARGEDSS - Regarding LQ9 heads - We have only installed on a stock LS1 head. The interchangeability of the LQ9 as well as other heads should work just the same.

RAPTOR_WS6 - regarding the MAF, or no MAF. - The answer is no MAF.

Once again, I appreciate your patience. If our business was open at 2am, I could respond to some of your posts instantly. But please understand that we genuinely welcome your phone call during business hours so we can answer your questions directly.

It will take some costom fabwork to get a maf in the small amount of space on a fbody. The adapter and tbody take up all avaiable space.

Stephen you didnt answer my ?.

Btw my car is local if your interested to look at the install, Im in Kennesaw.

What are yall using to cool the charge air? I had a maggie on my gto with the air to liquid front mount and it was ok till it warmed up and I'm not talkin bout hot lappin, I'm talkin bout daily driving. When it was up to normal driving temp it was heat soaked and you could feel a seet of the pants power loss. Your kit does look great by the way...

Default 485 wheel 04 gto under 3k

I haven't seen any car here spend less and get the same results. Wouldn't your reason for saying it'd sell like crazy if it was 3k would be that 3k for mid-high 400rwph would be an insanely good deal. Sry bout off being off topic.

No matter though, I think it looks awesome. Given I had the money, I wouldn't even have to think about it. To MTI, anything you can add about fueling on the car above? Was the stock fuelpump/injectors enough to feed that power level?
My 04 gto made 485 hp and 560 tq on a 125 plate shot. 325 hp 324 tq all motor. Paccetter long tubes, one off 3" catless header back with 10" kooks bullets, HSW ls1 plate kit, self ported and polished T B, K&N cold air, and an EXCELLANT tune from Jesse at the horse power house in Bowling green KY. All new parts for under 3 k.

That is like comparing apples to oranges! you dont have 485 all the time only when your bottle is on. If I spray 125 om my maggie I'll be at 630. you also have to pay 30.00+- at a time to refill bottle. if you go through a bottle a week, In two years you will have spent 3k in spray. I have the power w/o spending 30+ $ a week.

W/ a maggie you can pretty much count on gaining 160 hp over what you would normally be n/a.

My point to that was that you can make that kind of power for under 3 k. I had a maggie and it I was not impressed with it on my gto. The maggie I put on my ex girls Z-06 is ok. It does'nt heat soak so bad so it keeps most of it's power. Still took kooks 1 7/8" long tubes, catless mids, corsa, custom grind cam and a good tune from xxx motorsports to break 500 wheel. And thats 7lbs of boost. Made 8lbs before the cam.

My point was that no you cant, For 3k you get it part time and for 6k you get it all the time.

For my 6k even at part throttle i get 450 rwt all the time.

How can you be happy w/ a 150 shot but not be happy w/ full time 150?

You are right about taking headers and exhaust to get 500 but you didn't get 500 w a 150 shot w/ the same mods.

Even a procharger at those boost levels wont net you any more hp and less torque down low. Now I'm not trying to start a centri vs maggie war, Just to say they both have their place.

Maggie = Street ,some strip
Centri = some street ,more strip.

Have the same kit only from LM speed.

Let it speak for its self......

http://videos.streetfire.net/video/S...-at_133430.htm

Here is a picture of the spacer needed

Heres the cowl that gets cut

And it did more than what i expected. As far as I know I still have the highest numbers out of a f-body for right now.....

This is the forced induction section not the nitrous section. I can't believe you came in here with that crap.

The point still remains this is not the BEST setup for drag racing but for the street its pretty friggin awesome. Besides your not gonna hook up 600 hp on the street anyway.

So does this replace the whole intake? Is what you can see from the pictures, is that the whole kit?

Thanks.

If you want to bitch about the price look at it this way, If you have a fast intake now you will save about 1200.00 because you will no longer need it. If you have an ls6 you'll save about 400.00 If you already have an upgraded fuel system and can tune yourself you will be able to save a lot more. For all you get w/ this kit it is a damn good deal.
