Use the speed Inc set up! Pricey but no thrown belts or slippage.

I have yet to run it. Looks great so far. Seems pretty sturdy, not sure at 7,000 RPM but will report back in spring when I get this thing fired! lol I have an underdrive pulley so picking up a 71.5" and 72.5" belt and see what we're working with.

71.5, 72.5 and 73.5 didn't work. Picking up a 72.1 right now, should do the trick. Will report back.

PS - Remember, I'm running an underdrive.

The Gates K060722 (6PK1834) ended up working with my underdrive. 13/16" x 72 3/4" Outer Circumference.

That looks like the one that fenix999 (member on here) used to make (I think he made them). Not sure if he still does. Ordered one from him back in '09, but I could not use it since I have an LQ9 block. It doesn't have the lower accessory bolt hole to move the tensioner to.

It is... if you don't use power steering, you can actually put that bracket (that usually goes down low) on the drivers side head flipped and it works fine. That's what I originally planned to do but wanted PS so got the other unit.

FWIW. Speed INC bracket and altnerator. The belt misaligns and shreds if tightened too much. I found a happy medium with ocassional belt squeal at startup, and the belt is fine.
One of the better looking units IMO.

Alternator used in this kit is 105 amp i believe and i bought a spare one for the power tour at a local parts store, when it gets hot it quits charging well. I just need to get underhood temps cooled down.
