Default 42 pound green tops? 600whp??

got a set of ford green top 42 pound injectors.. I am going to up the boost next weekend on the dyno and retune. shooting for 650whp..

will 42 pound injectors at the ls1 fuel pressure support that power? they should be more like 49pounders with the pressure i believe.. but is 650whp doable?

They flow 52-56 in our cars. I have them. I have about 530 rwhp NA and they get to about 70% duty cycle.

no, i would not risk it on a FI car. if you where NA it would be doable, but an FI motor will eat more fuel

For FI they max out about 15rwhp higher than that...

my green tops for sale as of today they are 85 percent at 6000 RPMs, 100 percent duty cycle at 6400 rpms they are not going to work for me. so i say get the 60s. just my 2 cents.

i have no idea what my RWHP is because i havent been on a dyno in a very long time and have changed my combination so much. But i am naturally aspirated not boosted, and the last time i ran the quarter i think it was 10.93 at 126 or 123 maybe? that was with the duty cycle actually at 106 percent. By the way the green tops so far have had the best idle and part throttle drivability.Maybe i should just keep my trap shut, just dont want you to harm your engine.

I understand, and after talking to my builder we decided that 600whp is the target.. sorry guys.. that being said 42 pound fords at 60psi puts it close to 50 pound injectors.. I should be good with these green tops at this power level I believe. he said he is expecting 580-610whp but doubtful it will be more than that range. so i guess I misunderstood at first.. ford 42's and a walbro do well ya all think?

Agree. Just one example, but it is my personal one: Hit 100% duty cycle in my D1SC equipped car at 5300 RPM, putting down 542 RWHP on a dynojet. Current pulley system hits 10 psi.

Have since installed 60# Siemens Deka injectors and they have given me more than enough room to finish tuning the car.

so 60's still look to be needed then for me? wil the single walbro 255 support this power? through the stock fuel lines?

My setup (although it's LT1) will be using Siemens Deka 82# injectors, they are plug and play (got them from FasterProms [JeremyF on here]) and will be using twin walbro 255's. The plan for me is 650-700 RWHP. The twin 255's may not be an issue for you as far as volume goes, but unless you're running like 900+ RWHP, the second pump is there to maintain fuel pressure due to running big injectors. Most people wire the second pump with a hobbs switch.
I will be using the stock lines, you should be alright with using stock lines as well.
