Default Best Way to Empty Tank

I purchased a roller several months back and have been amassing parts to put it back together. Well, it looks like the car will be going back together this weekend, but I don't trust what if any of the fuel thats in it.

I would like to completely empty the fuel tank and fill it with new gas to ensure everything is kosher. What is the best way to do this? Should I just drop the rear end and pull the tank out, or is there some type of siphon kit that will completely empty the tank? Any help is appreciated.

Cut "trap door" and pull pump out and siphon fuel out. Not really bad at all doing the "trap door".

I would siphon it low and then cycle the key to the on point to turn on the fuel pump. It will prime the pump and get it completely empty if you can't do so with the siphon. It doesn't cycle much fuel so it may take a while.

You could also undo the fuel rail connection for incoming fuel, put voltage to the pump to keep it on, and let it run until it is empty.

Cycling the key will only give you a few small shots of fuel at a time.

Disconnect the fuel line and rig a line into a container. Then jump the fuel pump relay. That should get all but a gallon out of it, enough to add fresh fuel and be all good.

^ Cycling the key gives you about 1/5th of a bottle of water at a time. It isn't much, but all you have to do is sit there and turn the key back and forth.

Thanks for the responses. Talked to a buddy of mine and he said we can hook it up to HPtuners and cycle it out that way.
