Default Turbo Kit Fuel System

Lets assume, for the sake of me not missing anything that I know NOTHING about how to plumb a forced induction fuel system.

Im doing a DIY truck manifold kit.

---If this is addressed somewhere I couldnt find it in "search"---

So I'd like to use a 255walbro and 60# inj's, but thaaaaaaats about where my knowledge goes kaput.

So, Im guessing I need a boost referencing regulator? Is this necessary? Can I pull it off without one? I'm only going for 6psi?

TEACH AWAY!!!

On the cheap do dual intake pumps -8 feed through the rails then to a boost referenced reg to a return.

If only going fo 6psi you will be fine with just one pump. Just upgrade to the Racetronix system with their hotwire kit and you will be fine.

You should have put this question in the forced induction section, you would better answers there.

This is the fuel section you can post these questions here. 6lbs does not tell you how much he will make a 105mm at 6lbs will make 1200hp....

What are your goals with the car? plan to upgrade psi later? Single pump may get you there but it may be better to do a dual pump setup now to be safe and give you room to grow. Give me a call with some more info I will be happy to help you with a kit to fit your needs.

With a 255l pump and 60lb injectors I doubt very highly he would have a 105 mm turbo. If he did have a 105 mm turbo he wouldn't even be asking questions on here.

OP put up the details of your car's setup is and we can work from there.

DIY truck manifold turbo kit
70mm cheapo turbo (oem w/ on 3 performance kits)
absolutely completely stock LS1 w/ 806 heads
-P/S Delete
-A/C Delete
-Obviously EGR delete
-Free Power Mods
-3000 9" Stall

Stock EVERYTHING else

Mechanically, I'm pretty alright with knowing what needs to happen, but this is honestly the first time I've had to mess with fuel 'system' mods. I've got #42 in my GTO (cam'd) but that was gravy, just tune for em and youre golden.

Stage1 street kits good for about 500-525rwhp single pump 60# inj. and fuel rails.

Any more than I would step up to dual pump setup. Give me a call I will help you get the parts for your needs.
