I have had this happen 2x. I bought a dual walbro setup over a year ago and used the line that came with it, it lasted about a month. I recently did -8 fuel lines and the big *** y block in the tank with 3/8 barb and npt fittings. The 1st time this happened I was out of town and had to deal with it then. I bought some goodyear fuel injection rated line at advance that had some kind of blue liner inside the hose, and it worked really well. Well when I redid the intank stuff I used new lines, and they lasted not even 2 weeks. Went all around town looking for the goodyear line and cant find it. I replaced it with some damn thermoid fuel inj rated line and I dont see it lasting cause thats all I could find. What does everyone use and have good luck with? I want to go ahead and find some cause I know its coming again

you need to have submersible fuel hose. The fuel is eating away at the outer part of the hose and that is what is wearing it out. I believe j30r10 is the part number like said earlier. Oreilly auto parts stocked it when I needed it.

Thanks guys. At least now I have a part no and a place to get it. Recently when I redid all this stuff I told them what I was gonna be doing with it and they said it was good. WRONG.

Bringing this back up from the dead. Its happened again. I even put the j30r10 in the tank that was purchased from the first link posted on this page. Think I may try the stock style flexible stuff this time, the third time this has happened

Isn't it great spending your hard earned money on well tested crap. Nothing like pulling a tank two or three times. This just happened to me on the Power Tour and a shop put tranny grad line in to replace. Both of mine split after less than a year and 2,000 miles. If it happens again I will replace with the factory style. Hopfully I won't be 800 miles from home and have to pay several hundred dollars for a couple dollar part.
