Yeah, looks like I'm going to need a braided steel line with a -4AN fitting on one side and -6An on the other.

Wanted to. Would have alleviated a couple issues. No biggie. Just need to get all the fittings and hoses now.

Hmmm... I thought it would work fine. Regulator is supposed to be after the rail, I didn't think distance would matter that much.

hang on let me go look at my stock rail. I am saying on a stock fbody it goes in and out the drivers rail only. It should be fine but i am sure someone has already done it.

Yeah, that is how it's setup, however the rail should completely pressurize prior to leaving out the front.

That's what I was thinking also but have no experience with it. Some sponsor said it wouldn't work but I think he was just trying to push his fuel rails.

I have setup a few simple systems before with stock rails. The Aeromotive regulator had -6. We used a -6 to -4 male/male and then a -4 line from the rail to the regulator which was remote mounted.

stock feed to rail
return from reg to evap line with quick conn. fitting
remove reg. from tank

What about a -4AN female to -6AN male reducer fitting? ...assuming of course the inlet of your FPR is -6AN female. If it's -6 ORB female, then forget it. I didn't find any of those at Summit (-4AN f to -6 ORB m), but they don't carry everything either.
