I guess on the Evos the sock breaks down and actually clogs up the pump. I guess nobody has run into that on our cars?

I used a Predator for a year on E-85. If I recall, 25% richer on the injector slope and add 15% timing across the whole range.

Wonderful info! I would love to run some e85 but sadly my area does not have even one gas stating that offers it. The park and recreation department for the city has it but only for their vehicles

Ok with the mods in my sig how much of a gain do you think could be had? (if i would do this i would put something over a 42 lb injector and a ls6 intake and ported TB)

Would the injectors all i have to do up front??

Also I live about 2 hours away from where i would tune it so how would i go about this, should i MT my tank at home then drive all the way down on E85 to make sure all the Regular fuel is out or what should i do?

Expect 25 hp 30 tq bump. If you tune for it. I used the stock 32# injectors with my ls2. Your tuner will let you know when they are maxed.

On the fuel. Run the gas as low as you dare. Put 2-3 gallons of E-85 in it and run it as low as you dare again. Then fill it up and drive to the tuner. It will run on E-85 until you can get it tuned. Ignore the CEL.

I wouldn't waste $500 on a tune just for the switch. Buy a flash tuner and do it yourself. Then you'll be able to switch between the 2 fuel types.

Well the thing is i know the tune right now isn't right it's for sure running rich right now, so i was going to go and tune it anyway...

When you say a flash tune u mean hp tuners?? Is there any other tuner out there that doesn't need a laptop?? I just want the most out of my tune anyways and my motor setup won't change for 2 or 3 years from now while i do my full suspension and rear end...

There are plenty of E85 stations around my area and i when i drive it to work there are 2 gas stations that offer it.
