I did a head swap and it idles good now with the stock injectors in, just a little lean. But I have SVO 30# injectors to put in, just wondering if It can be driven with the new injectors?? and if so how long Thanks

keep your foot out of it and it will not run lean. do not switch injectors without a tune. just drive like grandma until you do.

Serious? When i did my head and cam swap i ran on svo 30's and a racetronix fuel setup untuned for about a month. I drove it 250 miles to get it tuned. It ran great. I do not really see a major problem except it will go through the gas like crazy.

Swap them out at the tune shop or have the tune shop swap them out prior to the tune. It doesn't take long to swap injectors. Do not run these injectors without a tune.

Honestly, for swapping in 30#'s, I bet it wouldn't make much of a difference, just run a bit richer than it should (but shouldn't be enough to cause issues). Its when you start putting in 36-42# injectors without a tune that causes issues.

However, I don't recommend it. I did exactly what Urban Legend said above...drove easy to the shop, swapped injectors on the street in front of their place, had them tune it, and went on my merry way

It's not recommended but not start or idle? I bought my car with ported heads and cam and stock injectors untuned...the car ran fine. After the tune it ran even better(duh). I then installed 30# and the car ran fine, idled right away and drove fine, I never got on it though and it was only a couple miles back to the tuner.
