Question Midwest Chassis Fabbed Rears

whats up guys tax money just came back and i need a aftermarket rear. ive been looking at the Moser and Strange ones then forgot all about the Midwest rears. are these just like the M9's where you have to buy their torque arm because i already have one.

also if anyone sees this that has a Midwest Fabbed 9" please post some pics.

thanks

Yes you have to run their TA, but I already had one too, but it was easy to sell and helped offset the cost. I would say go with a midwest and put your TA up for sale. Sorry don't have any pics of it , but it sure is pretty.

I have a midwest fab 9. I ordered it 2 inches narrowed per side, back braced, aluminum center 3.70 gears, spool, 35 spline axles, powder coated, LCA's, Panhard bar, Strange Drag brakes Short torque arm with drive shaft loop. I love this thing. very happy with it and best thing you can do for the $$ cost me $4030 to my door would have only been $3500 but I added the brakes to the order

I really don't think it was that bad. $4030 - $540(brakes) -$285 (suspension parts) = $3205 for a rear that was back braced, had an aluminum center section, powder coated and all the other things that come included with the rear.

But also keep in mine my car see 50/50 track and street mix and with this years changes I shooting for a 9.9 for the money it would have been stupid of me to buy a moser peice or anything else

Mine took 2 months to the day almost. But They will let you put a $1000 deposit and pay the balance a week or 2 before it ships

Dude, You can order this thing in John Deer Green! I almost did, kind of wished I had now that I think of it. But the red showing under the car lets people know you have a solid rear end. Aside from color options, I have thoroughly enjoyed it so far. No track launches yet, but it is solid. Very little noise is transmitted in to the car. I notice some with the traction control on and the car starts deceleration to maintain the speed though. But that is prob due to needing a tranny rebuild, as it does not make the ever so slight noise out of gear.

I've got a Midwest as well. 31 spline axles,posi,4 channel,4.10, chromoly drive shaft, chassis mounted torque arm for my td's with a drive shaft loop, and all powder coated and installed for $2950.00. I absolutley love it, just finished braking it in and im now just waiting for my clutch and im throwing the slicks and skinnys on to see what it does at the track.
