Default WOW. heres what i get for going to the drag strip!.

so i decieded to take my camaro to the strip and see what she has... after talking to a few other camaros they said the launch my 6 speed at 4500 on my stock drive train and street tires.... i thought that was crazy and flashed it in between 3 and 3500 and i figured my street tires wouldnt grab that well well they grabed and lets say didnt make it. broken spider gears and killed an axle... so my neighbor has a 98 trans am and he gave me his whole rear end so after pulling mine and installing his.... his wasnt equipped with ABS... or i was told thats what the little gear was inside my axle. now shes on jack stands for another week..

No **** on that one haha. But i say 3 - 3500k on a stock rear is pushing it even with street tires haha.

I don't know how you came close to hooking. I couldn't hook for **** with even a little 2k slip! But save up for a 9'' and never worry about it again!!

You can run his 3ch for the next week, just turn TCS off and leave the sensors unplugged. Or swap the backing plates off your 4ch and buy a pair of decent axles with the reluctor ring grooves.

Oh come on it is all in how hard you are on it. I have pushed my old 10 bolt to a 1.67 60' and 10.5@136mph And that was on ET streets

After blowing mine apart 5 times at the track, I now have an S60 going in next week. No more cringing when I dump the clutch!

I think the key is not to "dump" the clutch with the stock rear. Need to slip the clutch out of the hole.
