Default REAR END SHOPPING 750+WHP Q"s

Hey guys I'm looking for a rear end. I'm wondering who you would recommend and what gearing and what will be must haves for this custom rear end.

I'm going to be making 750+whp in my 94 z28 "Its Lowered" Full Global west suspension.. built 4l60E my turbo can go up to 1,400hp "room to let the boost bug move in!"

My main goals are to be able to hit 200+ mph and be able to run 9's at the track it will only see the track 2-3 times a year. It will be raced on the street every weekend! I would like to get a rear end that drives good and smooth with corners It will see the road course. It would be nice to have some form of LSD I was looking at A TRU TRACK but I dont think it will hold the HP I just seen the pictures of the busted Wavetrac what do I do? 12in or ford 9" 35spline? gear ratios 3.08?

I'm hope a sponsor can jump in here and hook me up on a great price and answer some questions for me as well! So that I can buy with confidence. Build it once right!

http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-M9-...y-Complete.htm

Take a look at the above link, and I would option it with the Wavetrac and the PST driveshaft.

Here is a video link on the M9. http://www.powertvonline.com/video_detail.php?mId=2901

Let me know if you have any questions. Bob

Just my opinion but I feel the S60 is superior to a 9inch. Everything is bigger including ring gear. It might weigh a little more but that weight means strength. Plus it's much less expensive. Not cheap but much better bang for the buck. JMHO.

S60 doesn't support the Wavetrac I don't think.

9 inch does.

From what it sounds like I would suggest the Wavetrac in one of our rear ends with the addition of a watts link. You can build a housing that will suit your needs of wanting to be able to hit the strip plus take some spirited corners.

If you have any questions hit me up with a PM or call and we can get you set up with something. Our housings come with a chrome-moly torque arm and cross member of your choice, either long or short version. The short version comes with a drive shaft loop built in.

Other standard features of our housing are drain plug, four hole relocator style lca brackets, stock style anti-sway bar mounts, brake line clips, hose mounts, and e-brake cable brackets(98-02).

Correct, and the Moser M9 with it's chromoly torque arm and transmission crossmember is the same weight as the 10 bolt. My Camaro cut 1.29 60 ft times with this rear on M/T DOT drag radials. Bob

I like the m9 but dang with out brakes Its over $4,000 and no added suspension just rear end and gears... also can I a get a 3.08 or something less then a 3.25?
I'm fine with spending $2,000 + on a rear end but not $4,000+...

it jsut the cost to play man, i doubt your going to find the rear end you want to support your HP levels for less. Especially if your looking for suspension and brakes too.

Do you already have a good torque arm? If you do, the standard Moser 9 inch is a good way to go, and it is a lot less money. http://shop.brutespeed.com/Moser-9-I...c-Truetrac.htm Bob
