Default Axle question?

So I have a 99 z28 and I need new axles for it. Mine got messed up from my bearings. I'm going to be replacing the bearings soon soy question is I have a friend with a 94 rear end and I was wondering if his axles would work with my rear. Thanks in advance.

splines(28) are same.
axles for 94 are # 26063146,axles for 99 are # 26059962. Different part # could be for different length ? somebody else will have to post up.
Above numbers are for 3 channel axles as 1994 didn't have a 4 channel option.

Thanks for the help so far guys. What is exactly the difference with 3 channel and 4 channel? The traction control?

3 channel is ABS with the reluctor ring mounted on the carrier.
4 channel is ABS & Traction Control with a reluctor ring mounted on the axle just inside the wheel flange.

I have swapped around LS and LT axles/posis and never had a problem with anything fitting.
