Thinking of swapping back to 2:73s but....
You will pull harder on the highway with 3.73 gears (at most speeds), but you'll burn a lot more gas in the process.

The converter will work harder in town due to the loss of gear. Its pretty much fluid doing the work, so I'm not concerned about wear. However, this will increase the heat it generates when not locked up. Make sure your tranny cooler is up to the challenge
Best mod I did to my car was 3.73's... It's MUCH easier to live with...
I can't even imagine how loose that would be...
I think around town it would really suck. I bet you would see rpms in the 3500-4000 range when passing people at part throttle.
I have 4.10's and they help out my Yank TP4400E.

I'm very happy with my new 3.73's, car drives MUCH better.
