I know this seems like a dumb question, but Id perfer not to redrill them again, if its not large enough. What size bit did you use. Also, I was considering slightly drilling some stock Salad shooter wheels so I can move the car. So I will be drilling those as well.

thanks

Well, we need a little more info.

Are the studs you are considering have a press knurl ?? Or are they 5/8 x 18 ??

sorry for the lack of details, didn't know there were so many options. It is the bolt on type, the have large bolts that hold them in and don't have threads the entire length of the bolt.

I guess I'll just try one or two sizes up from a 5/8 bit?

If you are going to use a 5/8 x 18, the tap size is 37/64".

If you are going to use a press in stud, the drill size depends on the knurl diameter. For a rough estimate.... add 0.010 to 0.012" to the O.D. of the knurl diameter and use that drill size.

I dont know why I missed that one.

Anyway, drill them 0.625". Its a good idea to keep the tolerances tight.

thanks for the reply's chicane, and 1BAD86Z28.

I'll try your recommendations, and state how the fit was.
