I've been using that in mine for 20K miles now. It slowed the leak down.

I thought you were supposed to use 75-90? Is the 85-140 better?

Im using 75w-90, Is there any advantages to the 85w-140 ?

Yes... just the massive increase in shock loading properties alone is worth the switch.

I guess i'll have to switch then, especially if it will help my leaky pinion. Would the 75-140 be better for the initial cold flow?

The multi viscosity alone will do the trick.... but if you live in a really cold climate, I dont think it would hurt if you did go to the 75-140.

Thanks, As of now the car is only driven in the spring/summer, so I guess it doesn't matter.
