Bang in drivers rear when hitting 2nd hard
I can't seem to find anything wrong. I have a set of bolton relocation brackets and weld on subframe connectors. I have ruled out the exhaust and all the bushing seem tight. I jacked it up and can't find anything loose. It doesn't do it all the time mostly on a good surface when it seems to get traction. Anybody else ever have this?

I would say the TA if your for sure it's not the exhaust. My Spohn TA used to making a Popping noise and feel like it would hit around that area under certain conditions. We had to clearance it away from the frame.

Are you talking about the large arm from the tranny to the rearend?

That would be the one.....also found that the plate that mounts the TA to the rearend (when I had my 12 bolt) was cracked through one of the bolt holes....honestly it could be anything....noises are hard to track down especially when most of this stuff is connected in someway or another. Did you check the PHB/Shock bolts etc.??

yea everything feels fine. It doesn't really feel like a hit or anything but just a loud bang at the drivers rear wheel. I even had the rearend apart and pulled the axle to check the wheel bearing and it was fine also. I have the relacation brackets for the control arms and is it even possible to lift too much and top out a shock? Sounds like a crazy thought but everything else seems fine

I didn't see any marks on the tire and the brakes are tight. I thought the shocks were ok but I never really looked at them. I'll have to check them out.

Good luck I hope you find it....reminds me of the Vibration I was chasing not so long ago... changed anything and everything only to find out it was my ASP underdrive pulley wobbling (had 2 that did this).

if you have a spohn torque arm, i would check the driveshaft loop, i am still having issues of the driveshaft not centered in the loop and it catches the ds weight when the car hits a bump and travels higher than stock ride height. look for shiny marks on your ds around that area. not saying it is what yours is doing but it sure is a horrible noise and thats where mine was coming from.

Check your sub frame connectors. Maybe the 1st to 2nd is torquing the car enough to shift them enough to make a peep... Look at the bolts and see if they slid in the mount. (if the hole for the bolt has some room to slide.)
