On stock wheels, the 305/35/20 ET Street radial fits, and is probably your best bet.

Stock LS3 will hold 200 all day long on a good tune with plenty of fuel.

Medium-large Cam+headers will net 450-480 to the tires. You will start running short on fuel pump around 550-570 rwhp (keep in mind with your nitrous)

Stock 42lb injectors are good to around 530-550

Your best bet is to start searching on the 5th gen forms, not sure if a zl1 fuel pump would be worth it,for sure price match and get info, what i would do is bolt ons,eps cam,and call nit.outlet and let them hook ya up,also maybe check on whats weak in the drivetrain, again i dont know much about them but talking to people that have proven there knowledge is a good start, also look at stangkilrs 2010 build may give ya a few ideas

The center section will hold 600+ from what I understand. The weak point is the axles. The axles can be helped out somewhat with trailing arms to keep them planted and control wheel hop. I plan on getting a 3:91 gear set from Chevy pretty soon. I will be going with a Nitto 555r DR since it is little more street oriented with better wet traction.

on n20, i run a 150 shot , but they say 200 with race fuel. but i can say from experience 150 all day. i accually know 1 guy that run a stock 5th gen with the norm boltons and 150 shot no tune no colder plugs and goes thur bottles like they free lol. no problems but i wouldnt do that at all.

i put the 1le axels in my car in dec , kinda testing the waters to see what they will hold . but right now my clutch cant handle the power im throwing at it on spray. but axel is the main problem with these cars. but if u do some weight reductions the car wont be so bad on them.
im just now starting some reductions atm.
i took out my front and rear bumper bars. got a braillie on the way , took out the normal stuff that just is junk in the car. I will also take out the rear and pass seat . I also gonna do a lite weight driver seat when i can. Wheels is another big gain.
with all that u should cut down 200 lbs or more. just guessing . That takes a ton of pressure off the driveline. the c6 do good with about the same setup just alot less weight.

I'm daily driving on 555R 275-40-20 DR's, excellent in heavy rain.

But we'll see if they can go 1.6 or better with my converter.

Knock on wood but my axles are holding up well, just installed some NTO5rs too. 45k on the clock, been wheel hoped hard and 1.8 60s and its all good. Need some seat time with the DRs but pretty sure 1.7s on stock axles will be fine. I would do gears and a cam... I have my cam, but these cars NEED gear!

So when you guys say axles, you mean they break axles? The axles... the axles on the rear wheels hooked up to the gear box? Why?

Yes. Because too much torque twist for the stock axles

Because Chevy cheaped out on this IRS just like they did the 10 bolt in the 4th gen. The axles are too light weight for a car this heavy. The bean counters figured the tires or the clutch would slip before the axles would pop and they figured wrong.
