Default Eforce Edelbrock.. Input?

Have a buddy with a 2010 SS.. He was curious to see how this supercharger performed and what power levels it is capable of achieving.

He still has an open mind about everything so any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

"This car has LT headers, one of our NA camshafts (swapping in a better blower cam soon) and the E Force unit."

It looks like they are getting pretty good results with the LS3.

Sweet! Do you know if the SC is using the stock Fuel pump or is it the upgraded pump and bigger pully they offer? I just went with the stock pump setup for now, got a gm dealer to install it for me when it comes in.

I believe it has an upgraded fuel pump, but that's all that I know about it.

What fuel pumps do 2010s get?

I would assume the stock pumps can't handle too much over 500Rwhp, especially with FI.

yea edelbrock states that the limit would be around 554 on the stock pump on the vettes LS3 and 599 with their pump and 3.5 pully upgrade so you are probably spot on in that assumtion for the camaro, im assuming they mean flywheel HP(edelbrock that is)

We're running a Lonnie's Performance Twin pump setup in our Procharged 416 Camaro. Its a complete plug and play module. (The stock pump was done at just over 550RWHP with the stock shortblock in an L99 car) I am also looking for a car to use as a test bed for the Edelbrock E-Force kit. I'll do a killer deal on the blower and install...

If anyone is interested, please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

I'm sure he would have been but you are a bit too far away!

Do you know what the stock fuel capabilities are?

The stock pump should support just over 500 RWHP FI and about 550 NA. A pump booster will get you just over 600...

The camaro non return fuel pump design is superior to the design in the LS3 corvette. Shops have been seeing upwards of 600rwhp on stock pump and some even discourage use of a BAP.

You won't see 600 RWHP safely with the stock setup. Been there done that... Modifications must be made. You might see it in a stick car on the ragged edge but for something reliable, I wouldn't even attempt it. The last L99 car we did hit 579 at 5700 and was going lean. I don't normally suggest using BAP's either but in this case, you really don't have a choice unless you consider twin pumps.
