What's wrong with IRS? Can't the Zeta's IRS support like 800 HP? or something like that?

I disagree. The Zeta IRS was engineered for future drag racing abuse. It may resemble the old cts-v and gto IRS, but dont be fooled. Go drive a G8 and come back.

Seriously, go look up the difference and youll see a HUGE improvement. The new IRS is very very stout.

Go look up what a fully loaded SS or WS6 weighs with all options

Its funny because, some people have a fully loaded LS1, and claim them to only weigh like 3350lbs, while other's claim that their fully loaded LS1 was closer to 3600...

x2.. makes it so hard to even guess the correct weight. I should be getting mine on a scale here shortly.. I've always used 3500lbs for the curb estimate.

My Auto LT1, T-Top, Bose, blah blah blah car with 1/4 tank of fuel, 1LE A/C Delete, no air pump, no cat and aftermarket catback was 3400lbs on a scale.

I'm going to start a club: Patman Haters #0001. You know he thinks he's better than us now. Arrogant bastard. Not that anything is wrong with it, but I hear he is a homosexual.

That's what I use.

I'm going to "test drive" a new SS right down to our county dump to have it weighed when they first come out.

I like the gauges but it would be better without that odd bright silver hunk in the center of the dash.

Outside it looks too fat, I hate the wagon wheels...18" are as big as I like unless the car is super sleek like a vette. Might look better with dished wheels and wide rubber out back but the stock looks kinda gay.

The rest I kinda like. Color is awful though...I hate orange and I really hate colors in between red and orange.

The engine cover looks like ***...too cheap looking. I'd take that thing off and put it in the attic somewhere or sell it. I like the way lsx engines look though...

Overall I think it's nice. Hope it looks as good in person (unlike the challenger...looks like a yacht)

I'll Admit, I don't like the look of the new Camaro all that much.

It looks like a Challenger/Mustang hybrid to me, but I'm sure some aftermarket appearance mods can take care of that. The weight is pretty "stout" on it, but it obviously helps with traction, so I guess it cancels out the negative.

I'm Sure You had a grin from ear to ear for the rest of the day though!

Engine bay looks pretty clean, more so than th 4th gens. Not a lot of misc wires & grounds all over. Should've ditched the engine cover though to save money and spent it elsewhere. I know they actually have TWO covers on the G8 GT, one over the engine and another over the intake, and I bet this engine is the same, probably to help deaden sound. Check out the back of the engine bay under the windshield base where it's black - is that insulation? The 4th gen was really cheap looking in that area.
